What's the issue? Please include any error messages you receive and as much detail as possible.
During explore I've been getting a bug quite frequently. I'll use an example of the one I just got to illustrate it. The first thing I came across was a group of rabid hyenas (if I remember correct) and I decided to bless them rather than fight, the next I got was an Infernal Hyena so I went to attack but instead of attacking the Infernal Hyena I got the group of rabid Hyenas.

Any links relating to this bug? For example, if a particular lion is bugging, what is the link to that lion?
I'm not sure if it is just my Lion or if it's a game bug.
I've only noticed it during the event period.

Please provide us with step by step explanation how this bug happened so we can attempt to replicate it. If it's complex, please include screenshots where possible:
1. Go into explore
2. Explore a bit
3. Bless or flee from an attack (it seems to only be with event lions/animals/demons).
4. Attack the immediate next prompt

It seems to go back to the first prompt you avoid.

Everytime I try to attack the decaying hyena the encounter always changes to something else.

Find decaying hyena
Hit attack
Encounter changes to lioness, banshee and so on.

I've had this happen to me as well, probably about 10 times now where it gave me the wrong animal battle encounter, and probably close to the same amount of times where it gave me the "Click explore to begin exploring." message instead of starting the battle.

I've had this happen to me twice in a row, I tried to fight a Zombie Lion and got a badger, went to fight a Wrath Lion it made me fight one of the demonic encounters (the dark coloured ghost like one, the name escapes me)

Had this happened to me a moment ago.

I was in the Shrublands zone to look for NPC's to battle for an adventuring quest. I encountered the Graveyard Hyena NPC and clicked on Attack, but it changed into a lioness.

I also had this, but they turned into humans instead.

-Was set on a shaman quest to defend a graveyard from hyenas.
-Found the encounter and clicked 'Defend'
-Was sent to a battle with the human bone collectors
-Winning the battle did not complete the quest, and the user log shows that I beat humans.
-I have completed this quest, and had the encounter has worked fine outside of the quest, before.

Just had this happen, a fight was supposed to be with Sorcerer Sphinx and it ended up being a lioness instead. Really not appreciating the karma hit that comes with lioness fights in this case.

Same issue with this event! Been happening for as long as I can remember, and I believe it’s also happened with normal battles (not sure at the moment though and may have been fixed?)

This seems to be an old thread, but I've been encountering this bug a lot lately. Always gets changed into a lioness. Just confirming here that this is still happening.

l have the same issue! I battle NPCs a lot, so this bug is a frequent thing for me. I just had it happen with a Chthonic snake encounter, too. I tapped the "Attack" button, but instead of taking me to the battle screen for the snake, it told me that I'd entered a battle with a wandering lioness instead.

Edit: I want to add that this happens with seemingly any kind of battle encounter; it happens with NPC lions, non-lion animals, and with event creatures like the snakes

While exploring, I encountered Slithering Obliteratoon. When I clicked the attack button instead of the name and sprite of the minion, a lioness appeared.

I encountered the bug in Rocky Hills on explore. I don't know whenever there is any other step I should point out besides what I already typed.
