i had this idea for an item,

The item will make there be twins which means that there will be two cubs that looks exactly the same (so same base, same markings, eyes, etc). The chance of this happening could be 45%* (or whatever the Admins choose).......the item I was thinking of could be hyena scrotum or horse scrotum, maybe something new like a heart?

*Please note above that Crunchy worms are like this and they are even lower chance (25%) than this item will be, so there is a chance of using the item and nothing happening just like the Worm does :)

Gop doesn't need to be used for it to work but if you want a guarantee of 2 cubs in a litter it is suggested to use it. Crunchy worms with over rule the item If added onto a lioness together as it would be a little over powering for both to be used together

I think the event should either be in February, April Or August and will be in the third tier like all other breeding items.

Now a little more on the cubs, breed only based twins would be more rare than getting event based cubs or combo bases, and of course common bases will be more common to get. For mutations it will be very rare to get, Lethals will be even rarer. Hybrids and dwarves will be disabled (cause who would want to ruin the game? Not me!!)

Idea add ons:
Allow crunchy worm to be used with the item (breed only bases will be low to get though)

Edit: If you don't support, I would love to know a reason why and if need be I can edit the information

Thanks

The add ons are better cause without them it would probs wreak all mutie breeding and maybe even lioden itself lmao

Mutie restrictions are fine, but I can't agree with special bases and marks. Twin special bases happen everyday. Maybe they're not the SAME special base, but it happens.

Also, GOPs shouldn't be restricted, unless the item garauntees a two cub litter. Also, also, you never explained how the system would work. Would roll the first or second cub's appearance twice or what?

K what I mean about the special bases is something like sunset or skyward...like pretty much breed only bases would be a very very low chance and for the markings too something like breed only markings too like rosette or celestial markings....

And with GOP it is not a for sure that it will be disabled....unless the admins want it to. Also when i say that it is not 100% chance of twins, what will happen is it will work like a GOP if it does not work and just give 2 cubs, if that is what the Admins want to do....

And with the rolling it would pretty much be a mystery because already we dont know what the cubs appearances be anyways.

Nah, i disagree. If a person is lucky enough to get twins on a special base (which those dont pass very often anyway), then oh well, let it be. People have gotten Twin Sunsets before. I have twice.

Anywho, Buffy balls can be disabled (because then we're talking triplets).

So you could end up potentially rolling two identical potatoes....hope that item isn't very expensive then.

Breed only bases, other bases like bloodbourne can pass normally like how they are......if you want to be specificbreed only bases will pass the same percentage that they would normally pass. Also they wouldn't just have the same base but same markings with the same percentage

I support.
I like the idea of twins being its own mutation in a way.
That cancels out it being too common and makes it pretty rare like other mutations.
Also, won't be some overpowered mess with making multiple other mutations.
So, that'd leave it just being an identical cub besides it with the same base, markings, etc etc.
That can also help level out the market a bit.
I'm just not too fond of it being an item specifically for the purpose of producing twins even if it was a rare item.
Though, I'm not too sure I could be wrong either way if this is beneficial or not.

Sorry, but no support. Lion market is already very bad and having items like that would only make it worse.

Fair enough, maybe I should keep this thread MIA until the market becomes better

idk... i appreciate your effort to not make this game-breaking, but in doing so it seems like an item only a select few people would use

i would support it being able to be used in tandem with crunchy worms and only affect mutations that can be inherited genetically (because that makes sense with how twins would actually work genetically), but just make it so that the mutation roll has to pass TWICE in order for EITHER twin to have the mutation (that means that, for example, if you used this for a 1st gen gon/pon, the twins would have a 5% chance of both getting the mut and a 95% chance of neither getting the mut)

under these conditions, the item could be of a slightly higher value, closer to a crunchy worm or a buff scrotum

Ok! I can add it as a suggestion cause I see what you mean with the crunchy worm, my worries is for people that would use it on breed only.bases 😊

i understand that concern—perhaps the chance of a special base could decrease when using this item? hopefully not by too much, as tempting combo breeders to use the item would be good for players who sell their event currency (it might also distract some people from the items that tend to flood the markets atm), but by a small amount that still changes the outcome

That would be perfect, since getting breed only bases are quite difficult without a crunchy worm maybe they could lower it to the percent its normally at with the crunch worm, hopefully that makes sense
