The purpose of Bloodlines is to create a quality list of clean lined studs as a monthly curated resource, for those who prefer using clean heritage lines to avoid inbreeding. Our definition of clean lined means a lion who has no repeating ancestors in their heritage, regardless of generation.

All members of Bloodlines must have a clean lined king. For more information regarding what happens when a king is not clean lined in Bloodlines, please check out our clan info on the official clan page.

We have no rules regarding inbred lionesses or sub-males in the prides of our members. We understand that sometimes inbred lionesses in particular are very necessary for certain projects, maybe to sex change and king for their looks and heritage replace with a clean lined lion, or to simply breed them for uncommon marks that would otherwise be impossible to find on a clean heritage lion.

There are no membership fees for Bloodlines, and there is no mandatory participation for any clan activities or socialization. We often have optional raffles and will likely giveaways in the future, and we encourage all members to help one another and offer resources to further all clean lined kings on Lioden.

But again, this is not mandatory. Rudely pressuring other members for discounts or help is not allowed. (Please remember that begging is against Lioden rules.) Inquiring politely about certain things (e.g., 'will your king be discounted for Bloodlines members?' or, 'I really love those latest cubs you just bred, will any of them be up for sale or trade for the clan in the future?), discussing things like this in the clan thread is fine, but please remember that 'no' is a valid answer.

Feel free to introduce yourselves or talk about goals and projects here, but try to keep it on topic in regards to clean lined breeding and clan related discussion.
