The previous king, Subra, has recently passed away, forcing his heir to step up as their leader. Polaris, the new king, rules justly and fair. He respects all of the pride members if they respect him. The Den The den is composed of five caverns: the entrance/main cave, one for females and their cubs, one for the submales, and one for the elderly. Main Entrance - The main cave is a giant room with large stalactites hanging from the ceiling. In the middle of the room is a basking rock that acts as the king's throne. The cave is lit by small clusters of different glowing crystals. There's a natural spring to the right of the arched entrance of the cave. The Turquoise Cavern - The female/cub cave is deep, reaching far into the mountain. The walls of the cavern are covered in natural turquoise stones, giving the cave its name. At night, the turquoise glow dimly, illuminating the nooks and crannies. The natural energy of the stones help one to communicate with truth. This is where the King, his mates, and their cubs reside. Crystal Hollow - This cave is situated to the left of the main den, about twenty feet away. The cave ceilings and walls are coated with clusters of crystals. Like the other crystals, these glow at night. This is where the sub-males reside. Moonstone Grotto - This cave's ceiling is covered in moonstone, glittering and glowing softly. The cave gives off a sense of calm and ease. The elderly, retired lionesses reside here.
