Eye Color AdjustementWith each new eye color that is introduced into the game, I've noticed that the already implemented ones don't get an update to introduce them in their own "genetics", so I thought it was a good idea to suggest an update of sorts, so the older eye colors don't get left behind. Below you can see the current eye colors in game, the eye colors they pass and then the suggested eye colors they could pass, too. They are divided in different color groups for the sake of convenience, not because I'm proposing color groups for the eyes. I also recommend opening the wiki article regarding eye colors in another window to check the eye colors easier. After a bit of research about eye pigmentation and thinking, I remade the groups and included every single eye color implemented currently. While Bismuth now has the lead on most possible outcomes with 18, the previous one had been Dawn with 7, so I aimed to give the other eye colors out there with less more possible outcomes to reach the magical 7. Those that don't have the "Could pass" box are either wild, custom basic or special cases, like the gemstone eye colors, exclusive color eyes, contacts or obtained only by breeding. The new color groups helped me a lot to visualize better the possibilities so, in the event that this were implemented, I hope they help the ones to sort them too! Amber & Brown
Blue & Gray
Green & Hazel
Heterochromia
Red & Violet
I've tried to include the most likely color to pass from those that are in need of more possible outcomes while spreading the eye colors evenly. Feel free to point out why one of the proposed eye colors doesn't fit or could also be added as a possible outcome! If this were to be implemented, the Admins would get the final say, but simply proposing an update without suggesting eye colors seemed very poor to me :'D Another eye-related suggestion worth taking a look into |

This is an old suggestion, I know, but I searched it up and I think it needs more traction. This is something I've thought about a lot! It seems unfair that some colors from the Eye Changer simply have more "value" than others. For example, Storm passes Crystal, Denim, Mint, Paradise, Smoke, Sodalite, and Storm. All exclusively eye colors also from the Eye Changer. On its own, it can't fail into a common eye color. I'm not saying all eye colors should be like that; it's not necessarily bad to fail into a common color. But an eye color like Hazel, made before eye genetics were really thought out, only produces Green and Hazel. It doesn't compare to Storm in terms of "value", despite being the same price. That said, I think this post needs an update! Some of the passes don't make sense to me, like Peach passing Hazel and Paradise. I'll suggest some changes. Cognac|Passes: Amber, Brown, Cognac, Red|Could pass: Cognac is brown and orange, so how about more orange fails? Definitely Sinoper, and maybe Saffron or Sunset. Earth|Passes: Brown, Earth, Grey|Could pass: Bronze, Malachite, Sandy, Silver I'm not sure what to take out here (maybe Silver?), but I'd like to see it pass Sunstone and maybe Peach. Crystal|Passes: Blue, Crystal, Green|Could pass: Ice, Crystal's not very grey, and personally, I'd rather the passes make sense rather than go for variety. Crystal passes Green, so why not add Mint? Aqua's also perfectly suited to pass. Storm is a stretch, but perhaps more fitting than Sodalite. Seafoam|Passes: Blue, Seafoam, White|Could pass: Seafoam is such a soft color, I'd rather not see such "strong" or "vibrant" colors be fails. Ice and Sodalite seem like shoo-ins. Malachite and Paradise also seem fitting, without being overpowering. Hazel|Passes: Green, Hazel|Could pass: Bronze, Brown, I'm striking Jade here only because I think Sage would be a better pass. Malachite also works, and Sunstone. Mint|Passes: Green, Ice, Mint, Sage, Seafoam|Could pass: Cucumber, Mint already passes Ice and Seafoam, and I don't think it needs to go past that into White. It's kind of a vibrant color, and I think it needs a more vibrant fail, since it's lacking those. Instead of White, it could pass Paradise, Emerald, or Crystal. Peach|Passes: Peach, Pink, Red, Yellow|Could pass: I know Peach currently passes a spectrum of colors, but it doesn't also need to pass green and blue. It doesn't have a whole lot of options that I like for it though. Earth is a perfect pass (it's practically Peach but darker). Saffron doesn't feel right, so put Sunset in its place. The only other color that fits as a fail, at least to me, is Sunstone. Tyrian|Passes: Crimson, Pink, Red, Tyrian|Could pass: That's a lot of overlap with Nebula, for an eye color that doesn't have blue. There aren't many options here though. Peach and Sunset are a bit far, but probably as good as it gets, unless they move the purple eyes from their weird state of being contacts to being actual eye colors. Zoisite|Passes: Mint, Pink, Zoisite|Could pass: Sunburst! Or Paradise! Aqua's too blue. 0 players like this post! Like? |

@Sanity Thank you for your thoughts! It definetly needs an update, but I was waiting until most of the hinted eye colors in the wiki were added before re-thinking the possible fails again - but when the last one, Sunstone, was added, I kind of forgot, so thank you for reminding me :'D I'll come back again later in the day, with something that makes more sense and that has the eye colors more evenly spread :) 0 players like this post!
