In mountain's so high Wolves have lessened due to hunting population's. Mountain lion's have been taking over the current landscape chasing any sort of threat away from their home. After year's of Zoo's and Wolves reproducing in other Forestation or captivity their Popularity has been increasing for over a decade now. A Pack Left their old territory and became bonded with the new one. A Forest at the bottom of mountain's, but it was a bad mistake Hunting is hard since Mountain lion's have been Living in these part's for the last 2 year's. Human's are also recent visitor's and normally hunt geese or deer for food. Other danger's have known to be seen were, Bear's, Coyote's and Eagle's, But due to the over course of hunting they have died down. Maybe with a bit of faith this pack could make it through a full year before some new pup's are welcomed so they can Leave somewhere safer? Or do they accept the danger's and Decide to conquer it instead.

About the pack

This pack is known To be very diligent and Loyal to their pack member's. Even the lowest rank get's treated like a higher rank. They are very protective but can however be strict about their rules. There is no alpha pair in this pack due to the Alpha's honesty of treating other female's the same respect as an Alpha female would have. The Alpha male normally breed's with two-three chosen female's of his liking's instead of one like an average Wolf Male would do. He find's it Loving to let other female's have the chance to reproduce but if the she doesn't want to, he doesn't do it. The Pack has all different kind's of Rank's other pack's may not have for their own safety, those Which are: Alpha-Beta-Gamma's-Med-Hunter's-Pup's-She wolf's/PupMother's-Elder's- & Omega's- They are known to get very hostile if a loner approach's their territory. Specially battle hungry male's. This pack isn't afraid to fight something twice their size and have even had stand off's with bear's and Buffalo. These wolves are highly sensitive toward's human's and normally attack's without warning. However in some cases unarmed hiker's or young children that isn't even bothering them Normally get a bypass since they don't agree with attacking the defenseless, Including a newborn animal or human.

Alpha: The highest rank in the pack.
He/She make's up the rule's, and is the one in command. Although He/She may seem kind they can be strict and sometimes if needed straight out aggressive. The Alpha normally get's to choose 1-3 Female's normally 2-3 to reproduce with so each female has a chance to see what mother hood is like for her. The Alpha is the top wolf, and is expected to be treated with high respect. Disrespecting the Alpha could cause a punishment which is not allowed. The Alpha is very Loyal and Caring toward's His/Her pack and Normally Retires in to an Elder after he/she turn's a little over 10 year's.

Beta: Normally the second in charge, the Alpha chooses the beta. Beta's can fight for alpha position but make it clear to the Alpha offering to challenge Him/Her for the rank. Male Alpha's refuse to fight Female beta's, and Female Alpha's refuse to fight Male beta's. A Male Alpha can fight a male beta and a Female beta will Challenge a Female Alpha. Beta's are to be given as much respect as an Elder or an Alpha would. There are normally one-two beta's in other pack whilst this pack only has one normally the same Gender as the Alpha.

Gamma: There are over 5 in this pack. They are known to defend the territory and take the hunter's positions if one is injured, or sick. Gamma's also teach pup's how to defend themselves as little was 3 month's or as soon as their teeth begin to come in. They teach them during battle training once they reach over a year & defense tactic's should be taught once the pup's mature into Lower Gamma's known as Trainee's. Gamma's are subordinate's which mean they help keep the pack in order in case the beta can't do it him/her self. There is a higher Gamma then other's and normally the most dominate or worthy Gamma is normally the highest one.

Healing wolf: Also known as the med, He/she help's those injured and makes herb's or gather's item's to help wound's. He/She is trained or was trained by a previous pack to scent out perfect herb's like: mint, daisies, rosemary, Anise hyssop and much more growing around their territory. Healer's Normally watch pup's with perfect attitude and wisdom to become the next healer once they pass or retire. Which takes longer then a hunter or Gamma train's their trainee's. Healer's can retire also at the age of 10 but if they are injured and cannot properly continue the rank they may have to force fully give up their rank to some other wolf who at least know's the herb's which are they're trainee. Healer's are independent and often don't like being told what to do, but for their matter's sake they do it anyway. Healer's cannot mate and are not allowed to. However if one was to they would retire from their rank until the pup's are born and continue her rank so One of the she wolf's can care for their pup's while they are working. Most healer's are female but in the past this pack has had male healer's. Healer's normally prefer to eat last but can always and are welcome to eat when the Hunter's and Gamma's eat.

Hunter's: Hunter's, hunt and supply food for the pack. They are known to be the most important ones other then the alpha and the she wolf's. If hunter's in this pack didn't exist the pack would have a whole much more on their tail working on instead of focusing on socializing and keeping pack status perfect. Hunter's are perfectionist. They are picky about what they hunt and normally hunt the best looking prey they see. They do not hunt newborn or any young animal that is defenseless and would be breaking one of the pack rule's if doing so. Hunter's are normally more Energetic and Agile then other wolves in the pack and normally eat right after the beta and Alpha. Hunter's are trained at a young age to learn the basic's of herding and catching prey. They split up the old, weak and young and go in for the more healthier Prey sparing the defenseless. Hunter's rely on their true instinct's to guide them through the hunting process and try to avoid more dangerous prey such as: Buffalo, Moose, Bison, Bighorn sheep, or Mountain goat's.

Pup's:They are the youngest in the pack. They very from age's between A 1-2 hour's old to-1 year. Pup's start training A little after they turn 5 month's and by that age they should be learning defenses. Pup's are also very important for pack's so population continue's to grow and wolf pack's wont decrease. They eat first with the elder's and are normally watched by Pup mother's if elder's or the beta is sick, injured, dying, or Just doing something at the moment. Pup's make a pack feel joyful when around them and wolves who don't normally avoid them and refuse watching them. They are normally the most immature however since they are the youngest and spend half of their time playing or fighting over something to play with.

She wolf's/Pup Mother's: The difference between a she wolf, is she or they are female's who are expecting or nursing newborn pup's. They are further from the pack and are hidden normally in an underground den or somewhere secretive like a tree covered with ton's of bushes. Pup Mother's are female's who watch pup's if the beta or elder's can't do so, so if asked politely they will agree to watch some pup's. In other pack's it's just alpha male and female but in this pack there is only an Alpha male and sometimes even an Alpha female, which mean's the male get's to choose 1-3 casually 2-3 female's and reproduce(Please fade to black!!) Once those female's give birth and their pup's reach the age to gain their Role the female's stay as she wolf's since the alpha has chosen them to reproduce with. Pup Mother's can choose to retire their role and become an elder(if their reaching the elderly point) Or become a Gamma/Omega/Hunter if they fit the role's. Most however choose to stay with their role since they have the time and pace for it unlike other rank's.

Elder's:Elder's are the third most respected Rank in the pack. Previous rank's have retired and some have even passed on knowing their last pack could be so powerful and caring toward's a first breath and a last breath. When elder's retire from their rank's they have reached the age over 9 while the alpha male or female has to be over 10. Elder's eat first and get offered to be helped with thing's which most agree of. Elder's are prohibited to leave the pack site for their own safety. A Weak wolf wandering about make's a great target for human's or any other dangerous predator that could easily wipe it out. They are treated most fairly so they don't have the urge to live, which may seem stupid but half of the time's elder's are safe just as long as they have the pack beside they're side.
