Something just popped into my head when I logged in this morning and realized I forgot to nest 4 of my lionesses on my side account.... yesterday was the last day for it.

The helpful idea I'm proposing is:

Allow your linked account, fellow clan members, and/or people on your friends list to nest your lionesses on their last day of pregnancy, if they haven't been nested and the user isn't online.
There can also be an option to just shoot the user a reminder message such as "Hey! Dont forget to nest [lions name here]! Today is her last day!" before simply nesting the lioness for them.

Sometimes we get a little wrapped up in our real lives and make these small mistakes (I'm currently avoiding switching to my side account since I don't want to witness losing 4 litters of pennyroyal cubs ) so this gives players another way to help each other out.

Let me know what you think

Suggestions:

Nuka {Hey-Im-Grump} (#29060)
"Maybe it could be a thing that friends or other players could do only a handful of times per week or something, or it requires some sort of cool down period to keep things interesting?"

Me
Add an on/off switch for this nesting option in the 'Account Settings' so anyone who doesn't wish to allow other players access can turn it off.

This suggestion has 220 supports and 8 NO supports.

Supporting! I think it'd be a helpful thing to be implemented!

But, I really would keep it limited to just fellow clan members and allies (friends), instead of leaving it open to just anybody. And make it limited, same as how many times you can boost another clan member's lion's mood, as mentioned before. Also, to make things a little more interesting, you should only be able to nest a clan member's or friend's lioness if you have the materials for it in your own hoard, and be able to pick which of those materials you use, like you would when nesting your own lionesses.

They tried to fix this with the message at rollover, but i usually nest my lionesses right before i log off (because im often hunting them throughout the day) so the message really doesnt do me any good to see first thing in the morning xD im here to support any improvement to nesting so thats a +1 from me!

I'm aware. But that doesn't do a lot of good for players who wait until the end of the day to nest, like if the pregnant lioness is also a huntress and they need her to hunt throughout the day. And like mentioned in other comments, sometimes things happen in our real lives that pull us away and we end up unable to get back on and nest them. This is just a little bit more of a safety net. It would definitely be limited.

So... when is this warning supposed to be sent, if not when you RO? Is it something you set for yourself, or...? I ask because I'm confused xD

Its not another nesting notification type thing. Only your fellow clan members or friends would be able to help you with nesting. Players would be able to decide in their account setting whether they want to turn this feature on or not. But for players who do, it would work something like this...

Say you forgot to nest a lioness or two.
You could:
A.) Nest them from your other account.
B.) Friends would be able to nest them if you're not online
C.) Clan members would be able to nest them if you're not online. (like how they can mood boost)

All nesting materials you use to nest for another player would come out of your own hoard. And there would be a limit to how many times you can nest for other players in one day and a cool down period before you can nest for someone else. It would not be a free for all where any random player can nest for any random player.

I know there is an issue with players in different time zones, so there will also be an option to send a message to the player as another reminder along the lines of "Hey, don't forget to nest [lions name here]! It's her last day!" if someone isn't sure about the time change.

If you have any other suggestions on how you think this system could be improved, please feel free to throw out some ideas.

Oh, wait, I just re-read the suggestion, I thought you were proposing the message warning and having others' being able to nest them for you as separate, not that players have the option to "remind you" before nesting. I'm sorry for the confusion xD

I'd support enabling allies or fellow clan members to nest them for you, but only if they were not in a hunting party or hunting - not that you can nest them on hunts right now, but just to be sure. The "ping" they can already do if they want via PM, do... I don't see the need for it.

Not supporting. You get a warning nesting notice on the last day of pregnancy for lionesses without nests; Instead of ignoring the warning, if you want your lionesses to give birth safely you nest them. This feature would nullify the need for auto nesting in Oasis, also, which is a bit inconsiderate to the mods/admins who have added the feature to avoid this problem.

I support being able to receive a warning from a linked account, however.

Respectfully, I disagree.
Like I've stated multiple times previously, some people need their lionesses to hunt so wont nest them when the notification pops up. Other things happen in our real lives that pull us away to where we aren't able to get back on and nest.

I also don't consider this suggestion disrespectful to the mods, we all know they work hard. Agree to disagree.
