It is a nice base, but to be fairly honest its a bit boring, it doesn't make me automatically think amethyst.



Amethyst has a a lot more contrasts (just got this pic to show what I mean) and is a lot richer than what you have as the base. While I will admit I personally really like the more diluted coloring you do have, I think you should add richer darker portions that are more 'purpley' not so purpley that it looks tacky, but something richer perhaps something along the lines of a diluted royal purple. Depending on whether you would rather go with amethysts inside geodes or amethysts cut out you may want to actually had more lighter shades as most amethysts out there have a good portion that is more just plain quartz. It would also mimic the amethysts that we gather here in game, if you want to do the geode amethysts i suggest more dark faded in with a very sudden white (not really white, off white) to mimic the look of a geode.

These are my only complaints, otherwise I like the direction this base is heading in, we need more colorful bases!

The color is more plum-like. As of the amethyst eyes, (which I adore) it should look more light, sparky, less saturated and with a sense of blue. Sorry, but I don’t really see this being the Amethyst base.

It's a nice base, however, it's a bit plain-looking to me... It reminds me more of a plum and an actual amethyst-based base. Sorry!
