Hello, extremely unrealistic base ahead! Oddly enough, it's the second greenish base I've made despite not liking green bases whatsoever ahaha. But at Xylax's suggestion I decided to post this. I modeled the base off of the northern lights, thus the name Aurora.  Lineart, No Markings  BG opacity lowered Lineart & Markings  markings: doubloon lace, celestial shine, fiery belly, glacial glaze, feline 7 ebony, under white 4 No Lineart  If it were to be an actual base, it'd ideally be an extremely rare one. If you have any comments or critique, please do share I'd love feedback! |

I would only support this as a contact base. kind of like the eye contacts, but as it is its too....fantasy....kind find the right word. no support for me, for now  0 players like this post! Like? |

No, support. This base looks overwhelmingly amazing, just that it looks too 'unrealistic' for lions. If you kept the shade of blue and the black speckles, it would make a super beautiful base. But this base is too 'flashy', though if you like it this way keep this base idea. Hope you didn't mind a bit of criticism c: 0 players like this post! Like? |

I like the colors, but personally I don't see it as an Aurora because when you think aurora I think of the norhtern lights. /GettyImages-498928946-59cd1dd3af5d3a0011d3a87e.jpg) It's a lot softer and not as speckled as you had done on the base. I personally think it would look much better with softer shading and not so many speckles. While I do appreciate and would love to see the speckles continued in any new mockups made, I do think it should be much softer to replicate actual auroras. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I love the base, but some seem to be rather displeased with how unrealistic it is(Nevermind the official Labradorite base, I guess...?). If that's too big a sticking point, I'd suggest it be a non-passable base, possibly in a black countershaded group(Maybe Black Dark Countershaded Special)? This would put it in the same base group as other blue coats like Glacial, and allow it to possibly pass them, among the other countershaded black coats, down instead. Either way, it gets a support from me, I'd love to see some... less neon-esque green toned bases. If we can have near-purple and blatantly blue and pink lions, I fail to see the big controversy with green. Especially if it's done as well as it is here. 0 players like this post! Like? |
