I just had a silly little idea for an explore encounter based around the Giving tree Monkey.

His flavour text for cubs says that he goes around collecting chased cubs and brings them to the tree so they won't be alone.

I was thinking there could perhaps be some encounters where you see him doing so.

Him with a group of cubs walking along. You ask him what he is doing and he says that he is taking these cubs to the giving tree so they won't be alone, and that you're welcome to visit.

Another where it could be him with one cub, possibly cuddling it and when asked what he is doing, he says that that this cub has been chased away from its home, and he is comforting them before taking them to be with other cubs at his tree.

Perhaps there could be a decor associated with the events or not. Though i've not thought that far ahead, i wasn't thinking of there being much in the way of rewards, just a sort of flavour encounter.

This is lovely! It could even be a karma encounter, where you can chase away the monkey for negative karma or help him care for the cubs for positive karma.

Something like

"A monkey hobbles through the grass with a small cub in tow."

Chase OR Guide OR Ignore

If chase is chosen:

"This pitiful duo should know better than to encroach upon your territory. You barrel towards them with a mighty roar, sending them fleeing in opposite directions."

"You trot towards the monkey, realizing that you've seen him near the crossroads caring for orphaned cubs. In order to help with his cause, you decide to escort the two through your territory, protecting them from any hungry predators searching for a meal."
