I searched and couldn't find this, surprisingly. Only suggestions on ways to punish inbreeding. Instead - could we get some sort of tool, perhaps at the Scrying Stone, to check heritages of a lion for inbreeding, and to check between two lions to see if they would cause inbreeding? It would be a simple tool where it would check the IDs of all lions submitted to see if there are any duplicates and call that back as "this lion has some inbreeding in its heritage" or "these two lions are related!". This would be extremely helpful for those of us who want to have clean lines, but have to keep track of these things long term manually or do extensive research into genetic trees to check for inbreeding. |

No Clean breeding is also a CHOICE and a personal playstyle. The devs have already voiced they arent adding anything to solidify it as something official (such things like heritage filters in search, etc) Its really not that much effort to check heritage currently ![]() |

big support as a dirty breeder myself! while i dont go for intentional inbreeding, i do not care if a lion is inbred, but it is a huge fact that some studs i use do! i dont even check my lions heiritages anymore really, but this would be really handy for quick checking if a lioness is inbred so i know if i can use her for a specific stud or if i have to find another one! ![]() |

old post, but no support. inbreeding still doesn't matter in the slightest, and this would only serve to mess up the economy even more. clean breeders have already messed it up enough by trying to make clean the standard. ![]() |
