Welcome, Luka! Unfortunately, that heir is not clean. If there are any repeating names in his heritage (of which there are a lot), they aren't clean. A lot of people also consider any lion related to a stat monster (Keyser Soze, Boombah, The Savannah Prince, and Hot Hot Tater Tot) to be unclean, though I don't think this clan cares about the stat monsters that much! Hello! I'm pretty new to this site. (a bit older than this account, but even my main is only about 2 weeks old at this point :,D ) Nickname: Epiale (Epi, or Ethan also work) Hobbies: Digital art, Comics, Horror movies, Baking, Researching the Occult Breeding Goals: (if any) So far I'm just trying to get a decent starting clan set up and build up some stats, but ultimately the goal is to try to breed a line of clean leopons, and get some pretty lions. What brought you to NLL Clan?: I was actually looking for advice on how to keep a line clean, and found this group! In reference to my last point there, I was actually wondering if there's a strategy to this? I'm assuming you'd either need a constant stream of new lionesses, or need to make sure your king is from another clan every time, as using your own lions and lionesses together would end in you just breeding your king with his sisters. Hello there! I've been registered for quite some time and came back from a year long break just this month and I was quite surprised to see the trend around clean lined lions. I've never been much of a fan of the whole one-lioness is-the-daughter-and-granddaughter-of-one-king thing, but incest that was generations back doesn't really bother me, so I've been kinda neutral to the whole thing. Like, I always made sure not to cause any more inbreeding, but I didn't mind if others did it. But the whole idea of completely clean bloodlines does intrigue me. Not enough to completely start over and kick out all my lions whose far back ancestors I had nothing to do with, but this clan idea sounds good to me. :D Nickname: Medianox, Medi, Nox, whatever you feel like, as long as I can recognize that you mean me Hobbies: Writing, reading, youtube, crafting pearl animals, baking, video games Breeding Goals: Not really any set goals. I just keep all lions I deem pretty, and I kinda fell in love with piebalds, so I'm gonna try to get a few more of them. I'd like to get a clean piebald heir at some point, but my current king isn't that old yet, so I've still got some time to get one. What brought you to NLL Clan?: A few days ago, I got a pretty piebald cub and when I went to tell the "father" about it, I noticed they had a clean king and were in this clan. And since your rules aren't so strict to only include "hardcore" clean lined dens, I decided that, why not join the fun? In that sense, I just sorted through all my lions and moved all the clean ones to an extra cave and I'm gonna add some more from my side account the next time I log in there, too. Hello! I've been on Lioden roughly a month. I've just been breeding NCLs like crazy since my King is now a Dreamboat. I'm trying to just get a knack for how genetics works, what genetics I like best, and hopefully get a fairly consistent result. Nickname: I don't really have one. I don't get involved in chat or anything, but I'm open to suggestions! Hobbies: Drawing, playing video games, watching too much of Criminal Minds and Law and Order: SVU, and nerding out over Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. Breeding Goals: My main goal ( which has been completed as of today!) was breeding a male heir. Because I got SO many females. I haven't got a strict goal, if I find a lioness I think looks pretty or has desirable markings, I breed her with my king. If I like the result, I may keep her for further breeding. What brought you to NLL Clan?: I was looking into info on inbreeding, since it's something I'd like to avoid. So I thought this clan could give me some insight! Also, I love the Game of Thrones reference sooo.. I can't seem to let some of my lionesses go and it feels wrong to do away with some of my female cubs. I now have a male I intend to keep, but ideally, I don't want to breed him with any of his siblings. My clan is getting breed big though, so I need to start figuring out who I'd actually like to keep. My SB is limited so I have yet to try studding and having my females breed with other males. And I don't consider my king a very desirable stud either. Since I joined Lioden for the genetics aspect, I'm just trying to figure out what works for me! 0 players like this post! Like? |

Hello!! I know how it feels to let lionesses and cubs go :CC In the beginning, I rarely did. What helped me is to know that you can send them to a nature reserve or chase the females, which will end up at some point able to be claimed in the explore. They aren't really gone! You can have 3 free studs from me (only 200 SB anyway) just put your name in the comment section! 0 players like this post! Like? |

@Meesh Thank you very much! I also feel they should go to good homes too, but I also want to see what their markings look like when they're older. I'm so very conflicted. I have sent lionesses to nature reserves, but that was when my territory was super limited so I have to be selective in who I wanted to keep. I have an adolescent of no relation to my king or lionesses. So maybe he will be of some use in the future. 0 players like this post! Like? |

PSA Hey guys! I wanted to alert everyone here to MAKE SURE YOU THOROUGHLY CHECK A LINEAGE. There appears to be a bug where the lineage isn't displaying properly, meaning there could be hidden inbreeding! I have posted this in the bug board and I'll put the link to the bug report for you all to see so you can understand what I'm talking about.
