I was wondering why it seems that 1 cub is the most common in a litter? when the average is really 2 to 3 cubs?

This suggestion has 3 supports and 9 NO supports.

A lioness can actually have up to 6 cubs, with 2-4 being the average, in real life.
But, 6 cubs is too crowded, so they most likely brought it down to 4 cubs and made 4 harder to get, since it's still kinda crowding.

I actually get 2-3 cubs pretty often (without the use of breeding items). When I breed multiple lionesses at once the majority usually have 2 cubs and a few 3 while fewer have 1.

i know they can have more but I nearly always get 1 cub when the average should be 2 to 3

We already have issues with the floods of cubs with 1 cub per litter being the most likely. There are items you can use to increase litter sizes, so I can't see any great benefit to increasing the chance of having bigger cub litter sizes.

i know that but you have to have gold beetles to do that and I find that crappy, I'd like at least more litters with two cubs . without having to buy the item..

You don't need Gold Beetles, you just need to get them when they are available in events. Buffalo Scrotum and Grains of Paradise are in the February and August event shops and they become highly prized throughout the year because they are so useful. Hence why they are usually sold for GB out of these months (and within them). If they weren't so pricey, then everyone would use them causing a plague of cubs which no one should want. A good way to get GB for them is to sell the event apps of this month (or any month) for GB which you can then use to get BB or GoP.

No support, when you have a large pride of 40+ lionesses and each one has 1-3 cubs (with the occasional 4 cub litters)...that's 40-120 cubs...

And some prides have over 100 lionesses

I'm confused about what you mean "its the persons choice", think about this though:

You have 38 lionesses, if you breed all of them and say you get the normal 1-2 cubs, that's 38-50 cubs.

If you increase the litter size to be 2-3 cubs, that's 76-100 cubs

Your territory size is currently 42

If around 10.7% of the cubs are male (basing this on my males 113 offspring), that means there will be 8-10 submale cubs you will need to rehome or Sex change (at one GB a pop).

This also means there will be 68-90 females, and you will have to rehome or expand your territory another 50-100 territory sizes...plus you will have to feed them

If you don't keep them, that is a lot of cubs to chase, kill, nature reserve, or send to the tree...

I would support the chances of having 1 cub to be the same as 2 cubs, but not make it the "average", by making 1 cub a rarer occurrence.
