Click to go to Roleplay thread.

The setting of this role play is a medieval-like city run by a powerful royal family. surrounding the city is a dangerous forest filled with creatures of all sorts: from cats to dragon, centaurs to fairies. Although many of these creatures are considered myth, there are legends saying that these creatures still exist.

In this world when a child is born, they connect spiritually with another creature. At the age of 8, the human children of this town are sent into the forest to find their spiritually connected animal. This is a dangerous mission, but it is necessary. Some children never return, others return without an animal and are forced to live without on. Some children, however, return with a creature that will be their loyal companion for life.

(For the sale of this role play, wolves/cats/other wild animals that would normally live for a shorter time will have the same lifespan as their human. For example, 8 years old for a wolf would be an older pup rather than an adult.)

There can be many possible plots for this role play and I would like the help of you guys to figure one out. Here are some ideas, but feel free to make up your own in the comments. I will add them up here and we can vote on one.
Each person can vote for multiple role plays.

1. Votes: 2
The villains of this role play are the royal family. The citizens have started a rebellion and are uprising against the royal family.

2. Votes:
The city is under attack by centaurs. No one knew they existed until they started this war. Role players will only play he citizens. The villains will be the centaurs.

3. Votes: 3
A group of children were sent out together to find their animals. They've been lost for years. Some have their animals, others are still looking. The villains of this roleplay are the creatures that try to attack the children.

4. Votes: 1
So way back when, the rebels were mostly caught and were going to pay for their crimes. The only people to escape were a group of children (the RPers) along with with the rebels plans and lists of other supporters. The children escape into the forest where some find their companions and others are still searching. The villains would be the royal family as they try to get the plans and the lists to stop the whole rebellion once and for all. You could also have the creatures in the forest be secondary antagonists.

I vote for the first or third! (seems really cool too.)

but...
What if it was a mix of the two? (this will totally be a suggestion, and you don't need to regard it at all, or even keep reading)

(AGAIN, this is just a SUGGESTION made by my overactive imagination, you, in no way need to pay any attention to this, but my vote up top still applies).

@HazelNightmare- I added your plot suggestion and included your votes (I put your vote in for your suggestion) love the idea!

Expanding on your suggestion- what if after the rebellion (10 years after?) and after most of the rebels were caught and executed, the remaining rebels continued their lives on the down low still in the city (raising families and maintaining business and what not). The rebels continued meeting and organizing but one of them got scared and word got out. In order to save their children, they sent them away into the forest. Since these kids grew up with their parents beliefs, they too want to take down the horrible royal family. These children try to survive the forest and (maybe?) come across various "mythical creatures" they believed to be made up that help the kids with the rebellion.

Updated!

Once a plot gets 5 votes I will make a RP. (Unless the runner-up is 1-2 votes behind)
