So, there is this one mission in Wenet's storyline where you find Wenet away, leaving all her eggs behind. The one and only option in this situation is to steal some eggs. This is completely frustrating. Not only is it terribly out-of-character for some kings, but it forces you to endure an angry rant from Wenet that legitimately stresses one out. I propose that there be added a second option to simply wait for Wenet to return and skip that entire frustrating sequence. Feel free to discuss; this is my first suggestion topic and, I'll admit, I have no idea what I'm doing. |

Support, mostly because Wenet's story needs a revamp. It was the very first storyline implemented: the usual two-three options roughly correlating to positive-neutral-negative karma worked into later storylines were not a feature built in. It also lacks a lead-in. I think it all and all needs a little rehashing to make some aspects of it feel less random, like this one. We never even find out what she was doing with the eggs! Since it is indeed annoying to have a wasted quest day (especially since you have to wait til RO to do the next quest- Wenet is so annoying to do on two accounts if you're trying to keep one frozen due to this), I'd hope for something where if you choose the existing theft option, it just skips ahead to the apology dinner quest. If you picked the new 'wow, go admire them!' or w/e option, perhaps as suggested she thinks you're stealing and gets ticked off... and then asks you to go get the ingredients for an apology dinner so she can serve them to you. Because Wenet does not get her own ingredients for anything. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Support. See people saying that you can just not participate and that it shouldn’t bother people but people don’t pick what triggers their emotions. This type of interaction (especially when I didn’t realize it was coming) was especially triggering for me due to the situation I’ve been through. It doesn’t make sense in the story, at the very least there should be another option. This is a pretty minor request compared to many others, and I don’t think it would take much work to change it. 0 players like this post! Like? |
