Apologies if something similar to this has already been suggested; I searched around for Easter or egg themed bases and I couldn't find anything quite like the idea I had. Apologies also if this belongs in the event suggestions part of the forum rather than base suggestions.

I think it might be interesting to have more variety to Wenet's quests and quest rewards in the next few years, and I came up with the idea of having her be the sole provider of a special natural eggshell themed base, maybe somehow related to the already existing common eggshell base.

Ameraucana are one among quite a few breeds of chicken that produce naturally colorful eggs. I provided a few examples below of Ameraucana eggs, and the eggs of a few other types of chicken for reference.

Maybe the source of the base could be that Wenet sends you out to raid an unusually mutated ostrich's nest for research purposes, or just a local farmer's hen house to see how a certain type of colorful chicken eggs compare to the eggs the rabbits have been carving. And with Wenet's usual crafting shenanigans, she somehow makes a base for it. For added difficultly, it could be that you only eventually get to keep the base applicator she creates after you treat her nicely with a few other quest's requirements, just to keep it from being too easy of a reward.

I'm useless at art these days so here are some pictures I found of natural colorful chicken egg examples to show what I mean:



I'd imagine it would look better as a bluish base rather than a greenish one. Maybe like a toned down labradorite or angelic type contrast, with a softer mix of soft browns and blues, maybe even toned like a robin's egg at the highest possible saturation.

As for patterns, it might be interesting if the base took inspiration from the two bases already mentioned above, angelic or labordorite, with a two-toned countershaded look. Or it might look good if it took after the more subtle pattern of the ethereal base, with the dotted line design that curves down along the lion's shoulder muscles and along their abdomen. Your lion didn't accidentally fall asleep on top of any colorful Easter egg nests and get stained by them, did they? ;)
