What do African Cucumbers even do?
African Cucumbers are completely useless except during the August event (they can also be used as beetle food, but so can 15 other items). Thirty cucumbers can also be used to craft the Kiwano decor. During the August event, they raise your thirst by 5%, tying them with Aloe Leaves for the least effective thirst-quenchers. If this is something that concerns you and you're worried you won't be able to replenish your thirst during the event, PM me and I’ll send you either Water Roots or Stripped Cacti in exchange for your African Cucumbers, both of which are much more efficient at quenching thirst. If African Cucumbers are as useless as you say they are, why the heck do you want them so bad?
You see, I started out as a simple hoarder because I thought it was funny. I mean, how many people have you seen that actually want a ton of African Cucumbers? My friends and I got a kick out of me constantly spending my money on African Cucumbers and nabbing them from the tree when I saw them. But as my collection expanded, I decided to shoot for a next-to-impossible goal: to be on the Most Items in Hoard leaderboard solely due to African Cucumbers. Yes, I'm fully aware that the odds of me achieving this goal are slim. It's just a fun project that I personally find entertaining, so I'm sticking with it, and I'm reaching out to the players of Lioden to help me reach my goal!
