Or Aurora and Malikai could live on an abandoned boat together with their pups >.>

But one or two of their pups will die from hypothermia as they will be born during a blizzard. She gets stuck in a snow drift and gives birth inside a hollow tree. 9 pups, 7 live over night. 3 will be NPC.
