George was the second son of his father. Therefore his brother was the heir to the throne, requiring George to leave the Pride at Adolescents. This is the way, and George is forever grateful that his father thought he was a good enough lion to start a pride of his own.

George looks over his new prideland and smiles. This was it. After a year of searching, he had finally found a place he deemed worthy to call home. A place he could see himself and his new Pride living.

Astraea stretched out into a low bow elongating and stretching her back and leg muscles in a pleasing way after waking up. Her jowls opened wide as a yawn left her mouth. She stood up and repeated the process with her back legs before shaking out her onyx colored fur. Her blue/green eyes flitted across the savannah from her shaded spot under the tree. The lone lioness let a sigh as she headed out into the ever growing darkness to hunt some game.
