This is a cool idea! I'd be fine with an event item or an oasis item, but it would be abused if it was too cheap or too readily available.

Perhaps it could come with a cap (so say three markings). If the cub has more than this, only three random markings would be 100%. Just so you can't get a miracle 9 mark cub with all 100% markings - it might throw the market out of whack unless it's like... very expensive. Three is a random number, 4/5 might be okay too. More than that seems like it'd be too much though, since that doesn't really happen without customization, and unless the item costs an amount comparable to that, it'd be abused. (IDK how it would be priced though, so thats easy enough to deal with)

That's an interesting point, I never thought about the economics of it.

I might make my 1st post a list of tweaks, I think you have a real solid concern. I thought maybe an event item would be best, to give your cubs a limited edition vibe ;)

And we never know what our cubs will inherit naturally for either parents unless using gnawrocks, so maybe the miracle 9 marks could be it's own self limiting factor? Thanks for you input flyteck

I support. It's not like it effects how many markings a cub is gonna have, it's still totally possible to get a cub with only 1 or 2 common marks at 100% opacity, but it would be nice to try for a high marked cub with 100% opacity from certain breedings. I don't think it should be a storyline reward though, maybe just something really expensive in an event so you can get at least more then 1 but might be hard to get more then 5 of the item.
