I'd support NCLs having some exclusive decor - something unique that can only be gained this way - or something very common as a rare occurrence - like a scar, for example -, but not having chased lionesses spawning with the decor they may have been equiped with the moment they were chased. Any decor equiped on a lion you kill, chase or send to reserve either goes back to one's hoard or disappears, depending if it had uses left or not, and the possibility of chased lionesses spawning with any decors they had creates a kind of exploitable feature, as the decors could be duplicated so long as they have at least one use left.

Or even if an NCL had a chance of being found while "cleaning up the remains of her last kill", where the NCL is pictured with a small pile of bones or feathers, and where succeeding in claiming her grants you those skulls/feathers OR a decor item of the same pile! (Would probably only be 1-2 feathers/skulls.
