The lives system in serengeti shuffle seems overall useless? I have rarely lost one life, let alone three, and I don't see what the point of receiving a penalty due to the game's rng not giving you usable tiles is? It just doesn't make sense to have it in place on a game that works the way SS does

No support. The lives in Serengeti Shuffle are to reshuffle the board if there's nothing that can be matched, so it has a purpose.

The game could just reshuffle the board automatically, though.
No need to have 'lives' in place.
I have never met anyone who intentionally matched their tiles so the board would reshuffle to get a new better chance and choice. That would be a waste of the already limited time.

I didn't imply that people intentionally rearrange their tiles to get the board to reshuffle, so I'm a little puzzled why you'd make a point of it. I'm just stating the lives on Serengeti Shuffle have a purpose so that the board reshuffles if there are no tiles that can be matched. Having the board automatically reshuffle is something that the game already does. To me, it's pointless to remove the 'lives' as it's just a useless fix.

I think the lives are just there as a way to make it reshuffle, and I really doubt anyone would be unlucky enough to lose all three ever, particularly more than once. It is kind of odd, but I've never had an issue, and it's not that hard to play another 2 minute game.
