I was thinking since there is a sizable community who are very focused on clean-line breeding or first gen breeding and with the changes to chased lionesses, where no one can be sure they'll even reclaim their lionesses after chasing them to cut out their family tree.

I was thinking maybe there could be an alternate option without worry of losing our pretty cubs or getting frustrated that the parent of a beautiful cub is tied up in repeating grandparents or a long busy overwhelming length of names. It could appeal to people who would like to keep their dynasty bit neater and still add fresh blood to a pride.

I'm not saying this item should be cheap and extremely common, it could be an oasis or a gorilla enclave/seasonal item only.

I think it'd be a good option for people on hardmode/clean line breeding or people who would like to start fresh/ neater dynasties but can't bear to chase/destroy their involved lions.

the flavor test could be something like

'The lion gazes into the crystal and within moments, a dazed look crosses their face. When prompted, they do not seem to recall anything of their past...'
