Fish out- "You dip your paw in to try and snatch the snail, and eventually you get it out the water! Observing it for a bit, you sniff and try to lick it for a bit, before gently putting it back in the water with a nudge. Snails are cool."
Smash- "Diving your paw into the waterhole, you slammed your paw into the poor shell-holding animal, the shell cracking under the pressure as the snail dies to your harsh way. You take note not to drink from the waterhole anytime soon, snail guts won't make it very tasty." {This will come with a karma deduction.}
Move- "Dipping in your paw, you persistently nudge the snail over to another part of the water hole, almost falling in the water in the process. The snail is safe!" {This will come with a karma boost.}

Push log- "Chuffing harshly at the decaying mass, you charge at it, slamming your weight into the wood as it creaked and groaned miserably. The snail you saw plunged into the water as the log sunk into the waterhole. You bet you won't forget about the scarring groans of the log, and the countless snails you just massacred." {This will come with a karma deduction.}
Pick up snail- "Holding your paw out to the lonely snail, you watch it painfully slowly crawl onto your fur. You shudder, eventually placing it back to the log and continuing your endless wandering."
Observe log- "Finding the odd need to poke your head into the log, you crouched down as you stared, trying to observe it. So many snails! A few cling onto your fur once you emerge." {This will give you a decor: "Numerous Snails", I would call it, which is a bunch of snails clinging onto your lion's head, back, shoulders, and unfortunately on your mane!}

Storm through: "Springing into action, you smash several of the slimy creatures under your paw. You washed your paws off in a nearby puddle, continuing your casual saunter." {This will come with a karma deduction.}
Relocate: "Deciding you have all the time in the world, you take a big leaf and try to get some of the snails on it, one or two at a time, moving them to a tree on the side so they could live at least another minute. YES! Snails would add a small burst of color or look to natural looking settings. All they have to do for the explore encounter to avoid them ending up like the spiders is to put them into a rarer slot to be ran into. They did that to the shrikes and now I barely see it anymore

I support and not support...
Reason is because I am already pretty annoyed with the spiders that pop up in Explore. If this was a reward for playing Seregeti Shuffle, or Reptile Roundup, or SOME game, or maybe something you can purchase with currency somewhere, but not something you can find in explore.
Reasoning behind that is, once you have like 5 ogre-faced spiders, then it just appears to be a waste of energy and excitement hoping its a battle or something but its' actually "do you want a 6th spider decor that you'll never use?"

In order to keep these worries aside, maybe have certain snails as store bought decor/event decor and others as rewards? Like a split between them? That or if they were encounters, As Neko said, make them rarer? Feel free to suggest! I would hate to see them as those pesky lil spooders that creep into the hoard. Our shell children deserve better.
If you don't like the idea, maybe post ways to improve it? Per say make it favourable for all people? I'll do everything I can to make it a desirable thing even if it's a smol shell boi because they all need your love <3

An interesting idea as far as snails is concerned could be adding them into the game almost like beetles are now, but instead of having them battle maybe have them race? And maybe the rewards for winning could be decor of snails? It would make the issue of just having a ton of snail decors given to you, but also have an interesting twist to work towards :P just a thought, I'll support anyway! Even though I'm not the biggest fan of snails :D
