This is a good suggestion. I definitely don't like waiting for them to just die, and the Grandpaw slot is hardly used because kings retire after a few months.

Yeah, while females we would have a better chance of keeping longer, and let them have a nice elder life! Kings are replaced but the grandpaw dies after a few weeks, grandmaws would be easier also because there would be more space for the next generation(s)

It would make sense to sort of put them in stasis like the "grandpaw" feature, since they already can't breed any longer and wouldn't need to be available to hunt anymore either. It would be a nice alternative to retiring (essentially killing) them early just to make room for younger members. I wouldn't mind a slot limit on "grandmaws" either, so players are encouraged to reserve them just for their favorites.

My favorite part of this would be having a "last chance" of sorts to freeze them if desired - I've failed to notice more than one beloved lioness was ready to retire before she died and I never got the chance to make her an immortal, permanent member of the pride.

You don't have to "wait for them to die" though; you can retire them for 10 SB once they hit age 14.

I think Grandpaws were added because they used to be the King of your pride. It's like giving them one last year to get the new king settled. XD I'd only think Grandmaws would make sense if we were required to have a Queen for our prides, cause then she'd follow suit of the Kings and it would make sense to have a Grandmaw then. Otherwise I don't see a need for this feature?

Also, what if you have 3 lionesses that are the same age? They can't ALL become Grandmaws. Or one retires and becomes a Grandmaw, then another the next day retires; that one won't get a chance to be a Grandmaw, cause the Grandmaw slot is already taken (unless we can buy more slots?).

I don't know... I don't see a need for this. What function would a Grandmaw serve? Play with the cubs like a Grandpaw?

Grandpaws make sense, since you can only have one King at a time. You can have multiple lionesses that could potentially be Grandmaws... so it just seems a bit... messy? :/

That may be so, but people like to preserve their lionesses. If you see no use, maybe others do. I mean, there's a reason why they made this.

Personally I just kill old lionesses if they can't breed or retire them when they're 14 if I like them enough, but supporting for others! <33

Thanks Rose and Typhon! I made this cause I thought why there wasn t a spot for females? They don't hunt after 14 and they can't be bred, and it gives those a second chance on freezing the female if they want or let the female be kept but without the entire space they take up, like the grandpaw slot, the king is there but he isn't in the caves
