Friday Coding Update!

Second coding update in a row? Well, the art update scheduled for today was swapped over to next week due to Xylax's eye infection. It's healing up slowly, hugs for everyone, no worries! Because this was short notice, it's not a YUGE update, but hopefully enjoyable!

We have tweaked event things we could address right away:
* Bast will now heal you for 5 HP instead of 3 HP per enemy hit.
* The "Bind" option sometimes wouldn't show up for players who were doing the essence quest. This should be fixed!
* Wet season should no longer show up in the back when battling enemies.
* When on a daily quest, opponents in groups will now count as 3 defeated enemies.
* Species-specific daily quests have had their requirements lowered from 15 to 10 specimens to defeat, so you should no longer struggle to finish the quest by rollover. Lions remain unchanged due to the Catnip item attracting NCLs that you can fight.
(This will come into effect once you take a new quest - it will not affect current quests in progress)

EXTRA NOTES REGARDING JUNE DECORS:
Xylax is making sure the shop-specific decors will release during this weekend, so you have time to switch gods if needed! There should be two more notifications: one for Seth's shop with two decors, and one for "Face of _____", with a cool mask for each shop.
The very last batch of decors in shops may appear after Chapter 3 launches, but those would be decors that are available for all shops the same - these are Duat creatures you might have noticed pending in the Item Catalogue.
The Pyramid Rising BG is tied to Chapter 3, and will appear in all shops on the 20th as well.

New things!
As promised, and per userbase demand, we want to bring back some of the floody stuff in one way or another. Step by step, we're starting with Broken Drones!

During wet seasons, you have a chance of finding Broken Drones in explore! They should not fly during a storm, sheesh!

To counter that, and to satisfy another suggested concept, we're adding an Abandoned Nest encounter:

During dry seasons, you have a rare chance to find these in explore!

Moderator Applications
Now, unlike previous application announcements, this is something that will stay permanently on the site. At any day, you will have a chance to apply for Lioden's Moderator position, which will be reviewed by us as needed. We don't always need new Moderators, but we want to always have a great base of people who are interested in sharing their time with us, their patience with the community, and their passion to make Lioden a great place for everyone to enjoy.

The applications are open to players who have been playing for at least 6 months, are over 18 years of age, and have a fairly clean rulebreaking record. Once you submit an application, it will mark your account as applied, so you cannot submit more. If your application is rejected, you can apply again in 2 months. We would value it a lot if you took some time to review what could be improved in that timeframe. :D

Mod Apps!

Bug fixes:
* Fixed wet season showing wrong cooldown at rollover.
* Fixed broken images in Hoard
* Changed discarding Goodie Bags from hoard and as stack to work the same as discarding from Hoard Organisation
* Fixed reclaiming a lion always counting as reclaiming a lioness
* Fixed exclusive-marked NCLs not appearing during the same month as event-marked NCLs.

Tweaks:
* Tiger's Eye item will now cost 1 GB at the Oasis and have 10 uses.
(It will not affect existing items, only ones purchased from now on)
* The Tiger's Eye dark frame effect on a lion's picture has been turned into an empty blank .png so you can enjoy clear vision!

Shad has uploaded new tags in Appreciation, Misc., and June, you can check them out if you need a new avatar! She also moved some tags from July to Misc., and replaced some old blurry tags with improved versions.

LINK - New poll! What default lineart expression should the upcoming male pose have? When you look at the current default pose, it has a universal empty look that can be improved with decors, etc. Snarky or Evil poses for lionesses don't leave much freedom! However, they're poses. They're here to bring more life. What expression would you prefer for Spirited pose to have, then?
