I don't know how many of you live on a farm but I have a question...


So I live in the woods and we are starting up farming we have Nigirian dwarfs, ducks chickens and a miniature horse. But in the span of 3 days we lost 4 goats. With no trace of a body, blood or a struggle.

So the question is what do you think did it? I thinking coyote but lifting a 25 pound goat over or under the fence would leave fur.

It might be something like a larger cat [IDK if a Bobcat could do it, or where exactly you live but we have Cougars around here and they could easily pull that off].

True, I think we have cougar bit they have never been a problem. Last year we lost a goat to a bob cat and it pulled the goat and the tire it was tied too but it didnt scale a fence.

It was tied so it could eat all the black berry bushes around it. But when this happened we stopped tieing the goats out.

I hope it gets figured out, you might consider getting motion sensing cameras or something similar to see what's coming in the area during the night. Sometimes they can be helpful, you can get cheaper ones that work pretty well from Amazon, maybe I can hit up my gram to see what they got when she was volunteering to see where the skunks were living...

wow, just in time, my old computer gave out and I just got a new one- it seems all the rps I was in are dead now ;-;
I think I'll rejoin this one, but im gonna use different characters this time, are we starting over the RP completely or is it from where we left off last time? (I might use vulture again...)
