How long of a timeskip were you going for Peachie? If it's not a super long one, then we could skip to Umbraclaw returning from the investigative patrol. If not, then maybe you could summarize what would have been found to help move things along for the time skip.

Gingerstar is going to listen closely to Umbraclaw's report and then agree with her incentive on sending a patrol out to inspect the crime scene. She will then want to speak closely with Larkclaw and Foxpaw, but only after speaking with Ravenblaze. She's going to ask him to inspect the body closely- check the claws and body for defensive wounds. Did Mousefur put up a fight? Is there anything that might identify who killed him? She's then going to ask that he relieve Hornetpaw from the medicine den and speak with him as well. Over the next two days she's going to ask for increased patrolling along the DuskClan border- and no cat is to leave the camp without a companion. An apprentice may not leave without at least two warriors accompanying them. Ravenblaze and Hornetpaw must have at least two warriors with them outside of camp and should never leave camp together [in case one is attacked there needs to be at least one medicine cat remaining in tact]. She will not openly state that she believes DuskClan to be the culprit but it is thickly implied in her actions. She justifies her anger at DuskClan via the omen they received- there's no way that it is a coincidence- right?

Unfortunately, I won't be able to reply until a little later tonight, so if need be my characters can be moved along. So I guess I'll give a quick summary as well in the case I don't respond before the time-skip is implemented.

Hornetpaw has his misgivings about DuskClan being the culprit behind the murder, but decides now isn't the time to say so out loud. He attempts to share a few private words with Ravenblaze, suggesting (in a hushed whisper away from the other cats) after looking at the wounds more closely, he doesn't believe they could have been done by a normal cat despite Mousefur's final words and that the fur beneath his claws isn't quite right either, but he can't determine what kind of animal it might have come from before being ordered by Gingerstar to take Cloudburst to the medicine den. Hornetpaw will escort Cloudburst to the medicine den and do his best to comfort her, offering empathy, but inwardly feels he isn't doing a very good job and is unsure how to ease her suffering. He'll give her some thyme for shock, but decide to hold off on the poppy seeds as he feels it would be wrong for her to miss the final ceremony before his burial. Even though Mousefur couldn't be saved he feels extreme guilt over his death and will silently promise to help Cloudburst and her kits as much as he can.

Redeye will approach Blackstar, visibly very agitated and explain what he, Dustpelt, Harepaw, and Wesealflight found. He'll be highly insistent the trap is a bad sign and they are all in danger and should leave the camp, perhaps a little too loudly. It will be clear Redeye is in the midst of panic himself, possibly reliving a bad memory, and will need to be calmed down before he sets everyone else in the camp off. Whether it's Blackstar, the medicine cat or someone else that calms him, he'll eventually quiet down and kind of linger off at the edges of camp with a paranoid expression.

I really wish I had rolled over earlier and just written this all out now, but I don't think I'll have the time.

I'm gonna write a short summary of what Ravenblaze does, I have some essays to write and books to read, so feel free to move him along as needed

Ravenblaze will inspect Mousefur's body as asked, and advice Hornetpaw to avoid giving a pregnant cat poppy seeds. He will report what he finds to Gingerstar and will start to prepare for Mousefur's burial. He will discuss the sign he saw with Hornetpaw as soon as he can. He will insist to Gingerstar that he and Hornetpaw should be taught how to defend themselves in case they get attacked while collecting herbs and warriors aren't enough. Plus, Duskclan would not expect medicine cats to fight.

Haha i might just make one mass, this happened poat tonight then! I feel fresh days help people, and it will give more clue times.

@razz- Gingerstar can appoint a temporary messenger if needed, or she can choose to wait on giving Duskclan any knowledge of their events. I also assume theyd be warned about the trap, though Dawn clan cats probably wouldnt recognize it, and instead probably take it for trash/left behind by careless people.

I think that she'll wait considering she's convinced that they had something to do with it. She wants to have time to figure out enough evidence to make a founded claim instead of jumping into it and getting DawnClan screwed over [not that she thinks they wouldn't win the argument/fight... because in her mind they're absolutely hecking perfect and there's no beating DawnClan]
