I think part of the reason Umbraclaw is having a hard time with Foxpaw is because she is her very first apprentice. Kind of a rough apprentice to start off on and I think she would be handling her better had Umbraclaw had some previous experience mentoring. I imagine that she is going to ask Gingerstar for some advice on handling Foxpaw should she decided to keep Umbraclaw as her mentor. If Foxpaw wants a different mentor, then she'll still probably ask Gingertstar for advice on how she can be a better mentor for her next apprentice.
