****Please Read before voting**** I suggest an item that could be bought from the oasis that is equipped to main/kinged leopons. This will NOT pass it's mutations at all. It would make the leopon act like a regular lion and produce lion cubs. It could cost 5-10GB and have 1 use? maybe it could be like the decor/item angelic blessing that makes infertile lionesses goddesses for as long as they wear it. I repeat, this will NOT increase the chance of leopons! Stud Leopon doesn't pass it's mutation. edit: Now with the change on the male hybrid's breeding, this item suggested could be equipped to overcome the breeding restrictions and maybe also energy penalty. So Leopon stud will be the same as a lion stud, but if it's a must there's will still be the stat penalty. |

No. It doesn't seem particularly Rude. It's outlining an important piece of information in a Debate. At least that is how I am using it. 0 players like this post! Like? |

The mere fact that most of you attack the non supporters is the reason why non supporters are not voicing their opinion. The new points brought up have still made me not support this idea 0 players like this post! Like? |

Huh? o.0 I just read back through the post and didn't see any attacks. Unless you mean the ones towards the beginning where there was confusion about what was meant? 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 10/09/18 @ 20:09:50 by Dinocanid (#69182) |

Actually, what is being meant by Perkon is that whenever a Non-Supporter voices their opinion, the Supporters start arguing and getting angry for voicing our opinions on the matter. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Not really detecting any anger either, just replies stating our opinions on the matter. For example with the leopon market, there were no attacks just stating why we think it won't affect the market. You all stated why you thought it would and we stated why we thought it wouldn't. Sorry if you saw it that way though. Your opinions aren't invalid, it's an opinion. 0 players like this post! Like? Actually, Generations 1-3 are infertile. Even then, Generation 4 has VERY low chances to be able to produce cubs. I got this information from someone who own Big-Cat Hybrids. 0 players like this post! Like? |

i really think the whole infertility claim should be discarded— it is very obvious that lioden is not obeying the laws of nature with it's fertility mechanics i still don't see the issue with this— it will help sell otherwise unwanted male pons, and it won't harm the breeding business because most people will still want female pons as well 0 players like this post! I think if male leopons can be kinged and bred it would make all leopons desirable even when Tigons get released. The only enemy of leopons are the tigons. So this could keep the value of leopons since tigons male would be infertile and this item should not work on tigons until a suggestion for it is made and implanted maybe a year or more later. 0 players like this post! Actually, big cat hybrids are often fertile. It's smaller cats (such as Savannah cats) that have issues with males being infertile during the first few generations. The reason being is they're from different Genus. Servals are Leptailurus and domestic cats are Felis. To oversimplify, they're farther apart on the family tree thus the chromosomes don't match up perfectly. It's the same with hybrids such as mules (because horses and donkeys have different numbers of chromosomes). With big cats, such as tigers, lions, and leopards, they're all part of Panthera, meaning they're very genetically similar. Yes, they have different adaptions, but on a genetic level they're considerably closer. Because of that, it's quite common for Panthera hybirds to be fertile. Granted, not every single one is, but it's not uncommon. That said, so long as males cannot pass on the mutation, I don't see a problem? It wouldn't hurt the market any more than female Primals or male Dwarves do? It's a purely visual change to a king. It would allow people to enjoy the lineart they like (the same with Primal females and male Dwarves) while still being able to work on their breeding projects, etc. (again the same as other kinged mutations). Honestly, I don't see Leopons being kinged as happening very often, even if they could breed so long as the mutation is only passed by females. People will still want to use leopons as cash-cows/money-makers so other than the occasional person that wants the aesthetics, most will be doing the exact same thing they're doing now. Plus if it costs 10 GB to make their kinged leopon breedable without even the option to pass on the mutation, I suspect it'll be much like it is currently. 99% of leopons will be female/changed to female. 0 players like this post! I still can't believe realism is a factor for the non supporters as we can breed infertile lionesses and I mean.. Take a look around. THERES PINK LIONS AND GALAXY LIONS!!!! Realism doesn't particular matter in Lioden anymore, if anything, non supporters need to choose a new arguing point because saying it's unrealistic now, just looks like spam to me. 0 players like this post! You know what'd be great? If the supporters would read our posts and not just focus on the part where we say it's unrealistic but then right after also say that we know lioden in general isn't realistic. They always gang up on that one small aspect like it's the only supporting details we have. They then say they're not "attacking" the non-supporters yet I only see them trying to discuss the one topic most of us have moved pass, they disregard anything else we said. 0 players like this post! Well not necessarily, some people actually talked about the market issue and other things so that's not entirely true for everyone 0 players like this post! Like? |

yeah i don't really see how that's accurate... my comment directly replied to Blackheart's, i wasn't digging up corpses in the least and why bring up the unrealistic issue if you (in general to those who claim this, not anyone specific) admit that lioden already does not obey the laws of realism? this isn't really the place to start a debate on whether or not unsupporters are treated unfairly, that seems like something for the rant thread. i think we should be responding with comments that pertain to the suggestion directly i still have not gotten a clear answer as to how this would damage the pon market haha 0 players like this post!
