There is the Primordial Spring in April which will age your king up or down by 2 years but can only be used once per king.
If you are afraid of loosing your king, you can however always replace him with another lion once he is old but decide to keep you kings current looks. That way he will only get the stats and possible mutation from the replacement but still look the same :)

As Valana stated, the Primordial Spring is the only way to age forward or age back your lion.

Once your lion is old enough to retire/dies, you can still keep his looks on a new king, just not his mutations.
If you want your king to have a mutation, you'll have to find a mutated heir.
