I've been watching all 5 seasons of the series Stormchasers on You Tube. The series was on Discovery Channel until it ended with season 5 in 2011. And I've been craving a good RP with a similar premise, with multiple teams of chasers trying to get the tornado of the decade. For either research purposes, film, or just for the thrill of it. But of course they would also help out if they come across places that were decimated by EF4 or EF5 tornadoes and render aid if necessary. This will take place over Tornado Alley and Dixie Alley. Including the states of: Eastern Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Southeast Missouri, Southwest Kentucky and Upstate South Carolina. Tornado Alley is Texas up to the Canadian border. With Iowa, Minnesota and Illinois included among other states. Also I was thinking of having a bit of tragedy involved with the RP as well, with some fluff elements to even out the sadness and dark times. Storm chasing is not the safest thing out there, and chasers have been killed. Even the most renowned and safest chaser known was overtaken and killed by a violent EF5 tornado with 300 mph winds in 2013. I'd prefer this to be on Discord because of some elements and potential swearing like a sailor. Also with one idea I wanted to add on into it. I may end up doing a Discord channel and if anyone is interested I'll give them the link. Pairings can be up to whomever I end up RPing with, even if it is in a small group. I can't do a lot of people, due to personal reasons and my fears of being totally ignored in RPs. ![]() |

Also please keep in mind it will not be all chasing. I will have relationships included since there is only a specific time chasing goes on, from April to June so only three months out of the year. And the other 9 months is down time, so they could research data or come up with things that they can try out for next season. Or just spend time with families and friends, catch up on the lost three months. ![]() |
