I really hate that you get notified for everything you're subscribed to on forums and have no way of knowing when things relevant to you ( responses to rp threads in character interactions, auction outbid notifications, or responses on a thread) are being discussed.maybe pinged threat notifs can have a '@' beside them and clicking the '@' would send you to the post

I feel like pinging by id number (@300, @3416, etc) would be best since everyone is attached to a id number anyways.

For unwelcomed pings, there could be a option to turn it off in profile settings. I just wanted this to be a simple system like most other sites to navigate the already large lioden community. The rules for pinging can be treated like pms too, where spamming/advertising through it is a punishable offense, but that's up to the mods to decide
