I had two little DUs I was growing and eagerly awaiting creating a multigenerational pedigree like people do with Leopons. Nothankyou now, I spend 100s of GB in this game and I couldn't, nor would I want to, support what is currently happening. It killed my fun, and most of all it killed the whole point of this mutie. And for others that aren't larger spenders, it's impossible. It is like they simply wanted to get rid of the Mut and this is what they came up with to say "well there is still a chance, you know", not a "hey, we think this breaks things, we need to get rid of it", like trying to put out a grease fire with a bucket of water.

So SUPPORT for the above. Although at the core of it I feel like Lion Balls suddenly changing without user input was wrong, at this point I guess we just can hopefully do some damage control.

I myself got my DU while it was only like 20 of those in the game. And while I see and agree they should be harder to breed than a Dwarf. Almost no one will go through this crap breeding a normal looking lioness with a little game benefit for more than a Pon breed cost you at highest chance of passing a Pon.

Dev Team: "DUs are getting more common. Better fix that."

The handful of people purposefully multiplying DUs: "OK but where my money refund at tho."

The numbers went up because people were breeding for them. I super goddamn doubt they were just popping out randomly en masse.

Support. Like lots. Either NO LION BALLS NECESSARY, or up the pass rate to 15%. I have loved almost every update, but this upsets me and I don't even breed 'em. This isn't right to folks who invested in this. What the fuck, guys?

I honestly am so upset about this whole thing. When I saw the update, my heart literally dropped. They were originally supposed to be for helping breeders breed more cubs, and have a higher chance at passing a cub they needed. There are barely more than 500 in the game, so they’re even rarer than pons, so I don’t see any need to lower the rates. Back when it was 25%, I bred my DU, and she had 6 cubs. No DUs. Yesterday, I had a person take a heat from my DU. They probably spent 70+ GB on all the breeding items. 8 Cubs. 0 DUs. 70 GB down the drain. They went back with NOTHING. Lioden, I know you need to earn money, but this is REDICULOUS. Normal players don’t want to spend $35 for a NINETY-FIVE PERCENT CHANGE OF FAILURE. Normal lions have about 7 heats. 7x35=245. Normal players don’t have $245 to spend on breeding ONE LION. THEY’RE EVEN MORE EXPENSIVE TO BREED THAN LEOPONS. Leopons are rare AF. So you’re gonna make a lion that was originally for breeding heirs RARER than LEOPONS? Wtf. Drop the lion ball requirement, or bump up the rates. If DUs are so expensive to breed, many players won’t want to breed to them anymore. There’s no point! I already have heard of people who had their hopes and dreams crushed by the new update. The craze for DUs will DIE because NO ONE CAN AFFORD TO BREED THEM. Who thought of this idea? They obviously were too ignorant to think it through. Besides, they were really rare before the update anyways. The craze was still huge. I don’t see why there needed to be an update. 25% wasn’t huge.

My suggestion is to either drop the lion ball, or change it to 12.5% since there’s 2x the cubs of a normal lioness.

It's funny cause as I mentioned on other posts, they overkilled it. I've been watching all DU trades and monitoring them. People aren't interested it seems in buying them much anymore which makes sense. And yeah I feel your pain. When they first came out I worked hard to get 80 GB to buy one... but only because I was saving one lion scrot to use on her when buff scrots came out. I'll still use it but i ain't thinking I'll get another one. I am extremely disheartened as well.

Everyone is estimating Lion Balls at 20gb. They forget that there is a limited supply. Last november they were 35-40gb. This November they will probably be even higher because of all the ones that were used for DUs

I do wish it would just be made passable. There's no reason to have to use lion scrotums (which are very expensive) when the pass rate is so low. I posted this on the other suggestion, but I'll post it here as well...we had 46 cubs from DU's bred with lion scrotums/great tits and one 1 DU cub was born.

As I said on the other post, it's an atrocious pass rate. I'll only be breeding my DU once- if I get lucky, great, but I ain't holding my breath. Might be better off selling my lion scrot or just using it on one of my other muties for fun.
