I actually didn't think about that... studs with this mutation would have a huge leg up on the competition.They could potentially make incredible profit compared to other studs by marketing it toward VLF breeding and make it so 1% is accepted for normal SB fees. Folks would flock to them and potentially super harm non-visual mutie studs badly. Why stud to a normal schmuck when you could find a stud with this mutation? Maybe it might be ultra rare like DU (now) is but studs can breed constantly whereas girls are limited to heats. I feel like the very limited number of heats a girl has is the reason something like DU is okay. This is a bit questionable though. How could it negatively impact the stud market? What are the possible drawbacks vs. benefits? If it needs to be restricted to ultra rare so it's not too OP, then should it even be added? How is it obtained? We could use additional info.

Only if the potent stud has the base, markings, ect. you desire Would it be picked over a similar stud. And this is a random mutation, chances of getting it with a special and desirable base and markings is extremely rare.
Also Primals are the ones with the leg up. I tend to pick primals over other similar studs, their mutation passes.

Not necessarily. Remember that mutie replacing is a thing. It'd be extremely easy to get it on a highly desirable marked/based king so long as you got your hands on one, and since you can early retire with GB, it'd be even simpler.

What if it also had a natural Bulrush effect? I think if it was just the 50-70% to add a bonus cub (knowing my luck, I'd never get it tbh) it wouldn't be as desirable as, say, a Piebald. However, if you could stud out more, it would be much better, especially for high-stat boys who sellout quick

I'm not sure about whether to support this or not, but as for the aformentioned studding competition that this would bring:

There could be a studding drawback added to this type of mutie, such as having less studding slots. Instead of having the normal fifteen, they could be given seven or eight breeding slots.

The idea of having fewer stud slots is a cool way to nerf this for studding competition.

I don't think idea 1 would cause people to choose the stud unless they have a 1% and all other stud options require a more expensive payment. I could see how energy would affect earning currency in explore--but also other factors affect earning currency in explore such as time on the game, dedication, using energy to explore not breed, etc. etc. etc. so that's more difficult to tackle.

I suggested large balls as a visible amp that could easily be combined with this mut...

I suggested the balls to have a funny mutation for male lions there's always a few of us who are overgrown children who just say balls and start laughing I'm one of them but support for this too

you guys this suggestion is 4 years old
also the point was that itd be good for high statters but would take away the mutation slot, so you'd have to decide whether the extra slots or the mutation is worth more to you
