I think the boosts are unnecessary but having "head rubs" as an equivalent to liking a lion would be awesome.

I think giving bonuses and such for head rubs would make it much easier to gain stats, impression and so on so perhaps leave that out? But I agree with Asher having it as a sort of 'like' button feature is a really great idea! c:

I think it's a super cute thought, but unfortunately, I think the idea of giving it some kind of leaderboard is just opening the door for 'like my lion!!' spam.

So, yes to a cute way to give your fellow players a 'hey good job',

no to boosts or leaderboards. Between the potential for abuse and the inherent 'unfairness' (not through intention, but as someone said, admins/mods/anyone who chats or posts a lot will end up with more attention just because of the nature of who they are/how they play. No leaderboard will save anyone shyer the resentment of not being able to make it because they aren't a chatterbox)

Honestly, I think I'd like it best if the headrub count was limited to the player. Another game I play recently had an incident where, because a counter was shown, players tried to make it go so high it broke, just for the sake of it.

I wouldn't mind a toggle so it could be player's choice if it was shown or not, but now I'm just getting nitpicky.

I can see the probability of spam so people can only limit on how often they announce it like calling for support on a topic like this. That way it won't get crazy as heck now thinking on it leaderboard isn't a good idea cause others can manipulate and the leaderboard would pressure others to spam for a like

I think the idea is cute and fun! I support but I don't think it should be put on a leaderboard or give boosts, just a way of saying- "hey, i like your lion!" also there should be a limit per user/day AND a way of being allowed to block them for people like mods so they don't get spammed. :)

I think this idea would be cute! My daily rollover annoys me sometimes though(xD), and I almost feel like seeing hungry lions + lions that almost died/ran away *and* headrubs would make me just stop opening them, so maybe we can consider having users have to check their lion's page to see headrubs but no notifs? Idk, I support either way.

Idk if anyone else brought this up, but what about side accounts? What if players head rub their own lions from their other account?

I still support this but I'm wondering if we'd need a way to where we can't rub our own. Or if that would even be an issue.
