Rules:
▸ All the standard Lioden rules apply.
▸ You must be in the clan to participate.
▸ You must pay 50 sb to the clan bank to participate.
▸ You may enter with your side account, but it will be placed in a different team than your main account.
▸ Put your team in your name once the event begins. [War], [Pest], and [Fam] should work just fine. Don’t put one in your name before I have sorted you into your team.
▸ This event will end on September 28th.

How it works:
▸ This event is different from any events we've done before, because this time you will be working as teams. I’m hoping it will add a more competitive element to the event and give us some extra fun!
▸ There are three teams, led by Pestilence, War, and Famine.
▸ You can request to be a member of a certain team when signing up. Players who sign up first will get first pick. Each team will end up with an equal number of players, so if one fills up faster, the players who signed up later or did not specify a preference will be sorted via a random number generator.
▸ Each day there will be a daily task to complete specific to your team. Sometimes, Death will require all teams to complete a special task, which will be the same for everyone.
▸ Tasks can be completed multiple times for more points. For example, when given a task to battle lions in explore, the amount of points you earn will increase with the amount of lions you defeat. So try and get as many as possible!
▸ You will earn individual points for completing a task. Sometimes more points will be given for completing more difficult tasks. Your team will also earn points each time any member completes a task.
▸ The top members of each team will receive a prize, as well as the top players overall, as determined by number of points at the end of the month. The team with the most total points will win the competition.
▸ At the end of the month, a storyline ending will be given in accordance with the winning team.

Premise:
You take a walk through your territory one night, trying to catch a glimpse of the shooting stars that seemed so common just a few months ago. You don’t see any. In fact, the sky seems strangely dark, the stars nothing but dim specks. As you watch, they begin to fade. You can’t tell what’s happening, but suddenly all the stars are gone. The sky is blank, endless black. The air grows cold.
You sense a presence here with you. Scanning the savannah, you see a lion. It is clearly no ordinary lion. It is midnight black, with strands of dark mist flowing off its body onto the ground. Its eyes are blinding white.
The creature speaks in a tongue you have never heard before, yet somehow understand.
“I am here to give you a choice. A time is fast approaching when these lands will be consumed with suffering. Many will die. A few will survive. If you choose to help me, I will spare you and your pride. All of you shall live. If you choose not to help me, I will not be forgiving. All of you shall die. All I need is your allegiance.”
The creature pauses, seemingly awaiting an answer. You can hardly process what has just been said.
“It is futile to refuse. Salvation lies with me. Every other way is Death.”

As the eldest of the brothers, Death commands the horsemen, giving direction to their quest. However, the remaining three brothers tend to fight among themselves for superiority. The time has come when they walk the earth once again, so now is their chance to gain the upper hand.

Each day, each of the three horsemen will direct their followers to complete a task. Completing a task will give points both to you personally, and to your team as a whole. The individual players with the most points will receive rewards, and one team will be crowned the winner at the end of the event. The winning team will determine how the story ends.

Which team you pick is basically a personal preference. That being said: War is more likely to give tasks related to battling and pvp. Famine is more likely to give tasks related to hunting and patrolling. Pestilence gives out more miscellaneous tasks.

Tasks:
▸ Each day there will be a daily task for your team to complete, determined through a random number generator. These tasks will reset every night at 9pm LD time, and you will have 24 hours to complete them and then submit that through the link I have set up for your team.
▸ Sometimes, Death will give out a 'Special' task, which everyone can complete for bonus points.
▸ Each task will require you to take screenshots to prove you completed it. I will be linking the tasks to a online form (survey monkey) where you can submit the screenshots, so it will be easier to keep track of.
▸ If you want you can put screenshots in a google doc then submit them, or create links for them through photo sharing websites like imgur.com, or whatever else you can come up with, but you need to be able to submit them on the form.
▸ Please take them in your userlog, or make sure the LD time and date (on the right side) are visible in the screenshot.
▸ Please don't submit multiple times for the same task, like if you had 3 separate screenshots for one task, please submit those all at the same time.

Special Task:
The horsemen must expand their influence. Today, Death demands the sacrifice of those in nearby lands.

Pestilence:
By wounding other animals in battle, you aid in the spread of disease. Battle as many as possible in order to ensure infection can spread across the savannah.

Enemies are everywhere. The strong must fight for their right to survive.

Famine:
Less competition means a greater chance of survival for you and your pride. Do your best to put down any animals in your way.

Results:
Pestilence won by a pretty large margin, with Famine in second, and War in third.
The overall winner was Jessye on team Pestilence, from team Famine it was BluePigeon(Side), and from War it was Topaz.

Ending:
The horsemen had risen up to walk the earth once more, wreaking havoc across the region within their brief stay. Each wrestled with one another for superiority, yet as the month drew to a close, Pestilence’s followers proved to be the most devout. He reveled in his newfound power as his sickening plot came to fruition. All along, he had been working feverishly, grooming a disease to the edge of outbreak. Finally, it reached a boiling point. Rabies spread like fire across the savannah, staking the region as Pestilence's own domain. The land was devoured by the rabid teeth of Pestilence's plague. Predator and prey alike foamed at the mouth. The infected loomed in every corner of the jungle, waiting for a chance to turn you as well. Cries of laughter rang in the air, as if the earth itself had been driven mad.
