Have you ever had that one lioness/lion that you fell in love with and are now stuck in dynasty? My idea is centered around that. I propose an item, when used, would revive that lion. But of course there is a catch.

1. That item would have to be used on a pregnant lioness, sacrificing all potential cubs for that one lion.

2. They will not be the exact same lion, they could be male or female, mutated or not, they only keep the cosmetic appearance of the chosen lion.

3. No kings can be 'reincarnated', this is strictly for the pride not the kings.

4. As implied in number 2, even if the original lion had a mutation, it will NOT be given to its new 'body' unless by sheer dumb luck.

5. The newborn lion will have the same stats the sacrificed cubs would have had. So no revival of stat monsters unless they were the stats given from the original breeding.

That's all for now, and I am open to ridicule or constructive feedback.

Edit: This item is geared towards the fact that yes, crunchy worms exist but lioness die not only before it appeared but also during times where it is impossible to get said item. If it were an event item I would probably place it in January or July. However I look at it as either a Gorilla item, to give it decent rareness, or a gold beetles item, albeit it'll probably be swarming trades quickly that way.

Let's face it. Even with the inclusion of this item, as hypothetical as it is, it would still potentially break the game or simply be another item that gets outrageously overpriced when not available, especially as an event item.

But it is a means, no matter how low the chances, to get that one lion back, that is not your king, that you poured time into creating. That one lion that you fell in love with, whether through selective breeding or custom moulding. It is meant to give roughly a 15-25% chance to get that dream lion again, if only the cosmetics.

I personally have 3 lioness that I fell for that despite my careful breeding each generation loses that special balance of color and opacity that made that lion beautiful in my eyes. I am going to stop here, I'm going into ramble mode.

Edit: Another thing as mentioned byou AnimeWolf, is to instead make it a decor item that would instead make the lion wearing it appear as the deceased lion in question.

Interesting! Will definitely have to be VERY expensive, though.

No suppport. This is basically what Crunchy Worms are for. Crunchy Worms make more sense as well because it doesn't copy the stats, that just allows stat monsters to keep being revived and patrolled all over again. And before you claim you may not have access to a Crunchy Worm, or they are too expensive, this item would work the same way.

Yes I know this is loosely based off the crunchy worm, however it is based upon the dead lions, not the living. Crunchy worms only work when used on in heat, living lioness but does not work on sub males or those lioness who are over the age of 15, or even died before the induction of crunchy worms.

As sad as it is to lose a favorite lion, it's dead and gone. The game gives plenty of fair warnings for it. If your lioness is young enough to breed and you love her look, use a Crunchy Worm. You shouldn't just wait until its dead for a guaranteed look alike. There's really little sense to this when an item that works pratically the exact same way already exists.
Lionesses that died before Crunchy Worms are gone. I'm sure other game updates drastically changed things as well, this isn't an exception. If you thought a submale was great, why was it not sex changed? If you prefer the male pose, use a Lab Test Frog. If you bought it that way and it was already patrolled, that's a shame, but the sex changers warn you wouldn't be able to change it regardless. If the lioness had hit the age of 15 and the player didn't Crunchy Worm it, that is their choice.
I'm sorry, but there's really no need for such an item.

There's no need for base changers, GMO cows, skin changers, marking opacity changers, or crunchy worms, if you're going with that line of thinking. It's nice to have, though, and that's the point!

perhaps a twist on this idea, 'skin of the departed'. using the item means you can get the exact (ish) look of a lion in your dynasty, but it is like a decor so it has no effect on breeding (such as base colours). and, of course, make it rare/expensive.

(just my random thoughts when i read your idea)

Actually that is a good idea, as well as lend to the reincarnation type. I'll add it up

Would have to be EXTREMELY expensive, since people could reincarnate dwarves, pons, special bases, Tigons... Would mutations hold through? If you were to reincarnate a pon, for example?

No, the mutation would NOT be reincarnated, just the base, markings, mane, etc.
