It’s a good idea but that flower is actually not a tiger lily, but a day lily! Tiger lilies are Lilium lancifolium, and Lilium tigrinum, whereas daylilies are Hemerocallis spp. and not actually a true lily. If you change the base name to daylily I’d definitely support! Perhaps tiger lily could be a combo base of daylily x something else? Tiger lilies have much larger dots and are usually darker in coloration than daylilies, so maybe you could darken the base and make the dots bigger, and switch the dots to the bottom since tiger lilies hang upside down? We’ve got a bunch that grow here in my backyard and everyone calls em tiger lillies, I had no idea! The ones I put up as examples were the closest I could really find to what grows in my backyard  Guess I’d just leave the name up to Xylax ultimately. Both daylilie and tiger lily are a mouthful xD 0 players like this post! Like? |
