 This thread is part of the Ilanga’s Adoptions clan, although anyone can adopt cubs here. Please check it out, we’d love to have some new members! You are still welcome to request cubs, but keep an eye out for future changes! Welcome! This is one of Lioden’s longest-existing cub adoption threads, created in October 2018. It has since expanded into multiple shelters and a clan. It’s named after the owner’s first broodmother, Ilanga. All of the cubs here are free for the taking, as long as they are marked as “Adoptable”. All you have to do is write a quick roleplay, even if it’s just a couple sentences long. Once you’ve read the rules, you can speak to one of the broodmothers at the adoption center and let them know which cub(s) you would like! Rules -Please DO NOT kill/tree/sell a cub you get from us! They are looking for permanent homes. -You can adopt as many cubs as you like! Just make sure that you can actually care for all of them. -To make things easier for us, please specify the name of the shelter or broodmother you are adopting from in your roleplay. -You don’t need to include a link to the cub, just their name. -We generally have a first-come, first-serve policy, but if someone puts more effort into their roleplay or message, we might choose them instead. -Please do not argue with the decision of a shelter owner. However, if you have a problem (such as a cub not arriving, or receiving the wrong cub), don’t be afraid to reach out to us! -If you break the rules, we may prevent you from adopting a cub here in the future. -We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Born during the poaching season, Vikela lost many of her family and friends to vicious attacks when she was just a cub. She witnessed firsthand the deaths of countless cubs, and made it her mission to protect as many as she could in the future. She trained as a warrior alongside the pride’s other guards before becoming a broodmother, and as a result, she can seem quite tough and intimidating at first sight, especially to outsiders, who she distrusts. However, despite being a bit overprotective at times, she is popular among her pride and a hero to the cubs she raises. Once you’ve gained her trust, she will be loyal until her last breath.
Despite being an elderly lioness, blind in one eye and beginning to lose her hearing, Khatiba is as sharp as ever. She may not be as fast as she used to be, but she keeps a watchful eye on the playing cubs from her resting spot. When they grow tired of running and wrestling, they gather around her to hear one of her stories. She loves to tell the cubs about legends passed down through the generations, of vicious battles and ancient gods. She is gentle and kind, balancing out Vikela’s fiery energy. You may have met her daughter Kuhle at the clan’s stockpile.
Amina is a very trustworthy lioness. She would die before she saw any of the cubs she protected be harmed. Her goal in life is to find a good home for each and every cub she can. She is confident, kind, and most important to her, gentle. If any cub gets hurt in her presence she will be sure to rush to it and care for it to the best of her ability. Though she may get suspicious of some lions, she does her best to trust every lion and lioness she comes across.

Caribbean King, one of the many primal in the lands, stepped up to the little cave where the cubs were kept. His soft pink and blue pelt gave off a friendly demeanor. "Hello," He said at he padded up to Cula. "I am interested in two of the lovely cubs you have here." He smiled when he saw Victory, as he thought that maybe Corruption In The System would like her company. Lord Beron returned to the cave of cubs, hoping to find more future hunters and warriors. His pride had grown smaller, and he needed new lions to keep it going. He paused for a moment, silently observing the chaos around him. Two cubs caught his eye, both with beautiful pelts that reminded him of flames. Padding over to a broodmother, he bowed slightly before speaking. “I would like those two cubs, if they are avaliable,” he said, gesturing to Heartbreak Warfare and Locust. “They both look like they would make strong warriors one day.” 0 players like this post! Baekhyun entered the den silently, yet still managed to make her presence known. Her sharp blue-pink eyes were painted with a jet black liquid that swept into a swirl just at the start of her temples. Flowers ornaments weighed down on her, dangling loosely across her slender body to her tail and finally around her stiff legs, which were also wrapped with Starling feather accessories. Her whole attire seemed to scream soon to be queen in a few days or so, but she spoke no word of it, only beckoning two cubs forward. She stared down at the cubs grimly, exhaustion evident in her gaze, before turning coldly to a broodmother she has never seen before. She dipped her head in acknowledgement, but her expression said otherwise. "Take these." She said, her voice soft yet stone hard. King Kaennal walked the route he usually walked when looking for new pride mates, this time however was something special. "Excuse me?" he called into the pride land near the adoptable den. "Hello, I'm looking for my heir, my other males are getting old with me as most of them are my brothers. I was hoping to have Alex and Rage.
