So it's occurred to me lately that it's kinda odd that prides of 200+ lions are supposedly able to live off the same amount of hunting patrols as prides of 40 lions. I mean, think about the real life application (not that the pride size is very realistic, but theoretically)— if a pride of lions had 100 lionesses to go hunting and enough land to do so, would they only send out the same 5 girls over and over again and leave everyone else sitting on their butts? Probably not haha! Basically, I think the hunting patrol system should work similarly to the broodmother system, just at a slower pace. As a brief overview for those who might not know, for every 10 territory spots you add, you get one more broodmother, starting on the next "1" number (ex. a pride of 31-40 spaces has 3 broodmothers, but once you grow to 41 territory spaces, you get a 4th broodmother slot) I think patrols should work something like this: 1-50 territory: 1 patrol slots 51-100 territory: 2 patrol slots 100-150 territory: 3 patrol slots and so on— with each 50 slots, you get one more hunting patrol to send out Benefits: - larger prides will make better use of their lionesses and the hunting system will be more fair for them - smaller prides don't really lose anything through this method - it gives another reason for people to buy GB to increase their territory, which benefits the website as a whole - it also makes the training system more fair to larger prides, as larger prides generally have more adols, so it will offer more opportunities to train adols edit; added suggestion just for admins to consider: perhaps the option to buy the ability for the second/third/fourth patrol to gain stats? would need to be somewhat pricey so that not everyone does it, but it does also seem like,,, if you buy 100 territory and support 80 lionesses and are willing to pay for more of your lionesses to gain stats, i don't see why you shouldn't be able to? but im mostly in this for the food LOL Suggestions: Bezthiel (#81210): the lionesses in the extra hunts do not gain stats Possible Concerns: Bezthiel (#81210): Since lionesses only gain stats through hunts and the main way this is limited is by only being able to send out 5 at a time, I could only support this if the secondary parties don't gain stats. We're starting to see lionesses pass 10k stats so clearly hunting works fine for stat gains. And your main concern seems to be getting enough food for a larger pride. if you don't support, please give constructive criticism as to why! |

Oh, cool! I didn't know that. With that knowledge, I'll amend my suggestion— the lionesses shouldn't gain stats, but you should still be able to train adolescents in my opinion. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Yeah that makes good sense to me, and I agree about the adol training! Extra opportunities for that for bigger prides seems fair. Also, off topic, but I saw you mentioned you were only getting ~15 stats from cub training - are you also training them every day before they are adols, so before 1 year old? If so I'm surprised you're not getting better gains. I usually find you can get 60-100 stats from 100% training if they're trained daily between 5-11 months. Just in case that helps any :) 0 players like this post! Like? |

I have not experienced that haha. I gave up adol training a while ago because it was such a hassle to log on throughout my busy day and send them on patrols and I just don't generally have a lazy schedule so I can't always be on every day and I actually try to avoid being on here for so much of my day. But I remember giving up because the +4 stats in each category were not really worth it for me. I think the highest i ever got the percentage was 95% but i mean i doubt that extra 5% would have gotten me 45 more stats lol. Maybe they changed it or maybe I'm just wrong ~shrugs~ but for me I know I gave up on it cuz it was a lot of time on here for very little payoff. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Ah yeah I can completely understand that! :) If you ever get back into it, the vast majority of the stats is just from the cub portion of training rather than the adol portion - which in some ways is good because at least that's just a once-a-day button to click, so it's quick. The adol hunting bit on its own builds up the percentage, but hardly gains any extra stats on its own. If a cub gets to a year old without any training before that, I definitely wouldn't bother just for the few stats you'll get from adol training. Waaaay too much effort for no payout! 0 players like this post! Like? |

o.O i forgot the cub training even existed xD thank you for that reminder, that probably did it. I might use those tips with my next generations haha, but i'll for sure use them if i get a young heir in the future! Thank you! 0 players like this post! Like? |

Support it blew to see we could have "hunting parties" yet only one goes out at a time? If we are talking in the respect of realism if a period gets too big it splinters or shrinks. Multiple lions go hunting not just a set amount. Sure start monsters might come about and yes some people have the time to raise their lions stays by 1k over a lifetime, but not everyone can which shows hard work and stuff. If my lions cannot applet a size 40 cave without hunting every half an hour (not even including what the male finds in explore) than that is wrong. I don't believe people should be forced to buy food just because they have very large prides. Maybe have the ability to buy extra hunting parties that can be sent out?? If not then I say at the very least make levels mathere more high libel lionesses being high level pray mixing high and low level somewhere in between. I believe people with a load of lions that space was purchased should be able to have the chance to be self sufficient :/. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Support. More patrols and more food would be lovely. As it is, I only feed my lions ever 3 days, to hunt and save food for my pride. 0 players like this post! Like? |

huge support. i plan to have 100 territory, so sending out more than 5 lionesses at a time would be a huge relief. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Its surprising this hasn't been added yet!! People with like 300 territory get the same amount of hunts as someone with 30 territory. Buying food can start to add up and it can get really hard to supply food for everyone. Major support! 0 players like this post! Like? |

thank you for bumping!! i forgot to bump this for a while :( luckily i haven't been struggling with food *too* much lately, but only because i'm hunting nearly every half hour for like 10 hours a day or more, which is NOT what should be necessary to feed a pride that you paid to expand lol 0 players like this post! I hope this becomes a thing because when you don’t play as often it’s hard to get the food. I support 0 players like this post! Like? |
