Let's start this off by saying I'm no coder, so I am going to suggest things with no clear picture of how difficult/reasonable they will be to implement - but that is not the point of this suggestion. The point is that the wishlist feature is largely unused and there are a number of improvements which could be made to it.

I'll try to keep things as simple and clear as I can, but I do tend to ramble, so feel free to post a comment for clarification or to discuss your opinions on what I'm suggesting.

~~~
1) Remove/condense "Most Recently Added"
Personally, I feel this section is unneeded, it takes up a large amount of space at the top of the wishlist page but doesn't provide much useful information. I.E. No quantities are shown, and just because it was added most recently doesn't mean it's the most needed.
So, either condensing it down much like the option headers in the new TC, moving it to below the actual wishlist, or removing it all together would be great.
~~~

2) Text box for each item

I have previously suggested that a text box be added to each item box on your wishlist for the purpose of making notes to yourself or to others who may be looking to gift you (Suggestion) And this idea I feel would still be highly useful.

Copied from above mentioned suggestion
"It would just serve as a reminder box, e.g. what event it's available from, or how much I was planning to spend to buy the item or what lion it was a decoration for, etc"

~~~
3) Wishlist searching
So it's all well and good creating a wishlist, but when it's 20 pages long who has the time to be searching through all those items just to see what you want. Based on this suggestion, I am suggesting that there is a search bar added so that both you and others can easily search through your lists to see what items you are looking for.
This could also be extended to searching for categories of items, like the hoard is broken down into - this could let users jump between items easily.
~~~

4) Wishlist description

A description box, like we have in dens and branches. This could allow us to provide an overview of our whole wishlist - like if these are items we are collecting, or looking to use for breeding, if we have a thread where we are buying them or if they are wishful thinking for the December gifting.

~~~
5) Search bar to add items
It has been suggested many times that what is currently a drop down and scroll box be changed to a type and search bar for adding items to our wishlist. If this can be made accessibility friendly, like I believe the TC now is, that would be an improvement.
~~~

6) I'm pretty sure I had one more solid point to make that has gone from my mind
How important the item is maybe? like a priority?
~~~
This is just the beginning of an idea, so I am very open to criticisms, counter arguments and additional ideas. So please feel free to comment what you'd want to see improved, or kept the same, in the wishlist pages!
I don't actually have anything in here that I disagree with, so I definitely support. That said, I'd agree with the idea of a priority/rating for each item being less of a "maybe" and more of a "definite yes".
If a priority system was added, I feel like that'd help a lot. Both to tell other people what that person would want more out of their list, and also if it could be implemented with your third point. And in regards to the search function, maybe let people sort by highest/lowest priority? So that way, even if you're not looking for a specific item or type of item, you could see what's the top priority in that list.
Just my thoughts.
I think it'd be cool to separate/organize a wishlist via item price. So that you can have a list of cheap things for people to gift like now, during the December event, and then a list of medium-priced things, and then more expensive things either for someone looking to REALLY make your day, or as a reminder for yourself.
