◀introduction
You are a college student attending Marymount University, it's the summertime, but you signed up for an internship program. So instead of heading back home, or hanging out with friends, or going to the beach, you're stuck alternating between the mostly vacated dorms, and a singular classroom in the main building. You're drawing close to the end of the program, and headed to the dorm after a long day, walking back with the other interns as the sky is beginning to darken when something in the distance catches your eye. A dark shape lingers at the other end of the quad, and you squint to get a better look, but in the dim lighting it seems to be vaguely human in shape, but with a rough outline and tall pointed ears. You dismiss it as a furry. The next morning someone mentions seeing it, you eavesdrop, but their conversation ends too quickly, and you move on. Finally you've all completed the internship and some of the students convince the professor to leave the classroom open so they can throw a small party after dark. And that is where our story begins...
◀summary
This is a mystery and supernatural based role play revolving around a group of university students who just happened to take the same internship program. They may or may not know each other already, but reaching the end is certainly cause for celebration, but as the party starts to kick off they notice someone, or something lurking outside. Spooky. Anyway, I can't give much more away, as I have a lot planned and a lot will be left to your character's problem solving skills and observations. I thought it'd be more fun to start from an uninformed perspective, rather than an informed outsider stance (that I've seen many supernatural based role plays take). This is definitely going to be a little campy, some serious moments, with inspiration drawn from Scooby Doo, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and just the tiniest bit of Supernatural.
