This Roleplay will be similar to the Warrior Cats series!~

With the resurgence of Watership Down, I've become recently inspired to do an RP based on it; however, I would like to see what interest it garners first.
I thought it would have random events and some D&D elements to it.
I also had the idea of introducing a faction of domesticated rabbits, long since established in their warren, to add a bit of spice!

Either way, if you'd be interested, let me know, also, if you would prefer it held here, or on Discord!

Am I here to re-live the fact watching the cartoon at a young age made me briefly afraid of rabbits? Absolutely. I'm down with this, I've not dabbled in the book/movie/lore in ages, I need a refresher and this seems as good a place to start after I double check my knowledge once things begin to develop.

Netflix did a new mini-series recently, which inspired this venture. Highly recommend it if you have Netflix. It's only four episodes long, but would be a pretty great refresher I'd imagine.

Ooh, I heard about that! Didn't realise it was a Netflix thing. At the very least, if I don't, I've definitely still got the DVD of the original cartoon~

It's more complex then that, but yes...the original film was probably infamous for the amount of gore considering it was an animated movie.

I'd probably be interested.

Sure, the series scarred me for life. But it's nowhere near as traumatizing as another movie that isn't related.

It's quite similar to Warriors, actually!

Per wikipedia:
"Watership Down is a survival and adventure novel by English author Richard Adams, published by Rex Collings Ltd of London in 1972. Set in southern England, the story features a small group of rabbits. Although they live in their natural environment, they are anthropomorphised, possessing their own culture, language, proverbs, poetry, and mythology. Evoking epic themes, the novel follows the rabbits as they escape the destruction of their warren and seek a place to establish a new home, encountering perils and temptations along the way"

This roleplay would be very similar to Warriors, just following the lore of Watership Down. I plan on there being two, separate warrens, similar to clans in the Warriors series.

I highly recommend checking it out! The animation can be clunky, but it's a good story. Thank you for your interest, none the less.

@Quinn,
aaa, I'm glad you're interested. I too will be dabbling and refreshing my knowledge, but I truly love the lore of the series/book.
