The Smilus is a renowned prehistoric beast, with its heritage going back to the large and powerful Smilodon. Many are in awe at the sheer terror this magnificent strong beast emits. But today I am here to suggest the findings of a new prehistoric king. One whose lineage goes back to the Australian continent, where a mighty terrifying prehistoric king prowled the lands. About the size of a lioness, the Thylacoleo was dexterous and its great stamina made it a flexible and fast hunter. Any lioness born with the Thylacoleo gene would be a superb huntress. Any lion born with the Thylacoleo gene would be a very impressive sight for the ladies, using agility and prowess over the brute strength of the Smilus. |

I like a terrifying carnivorous marsupial as much as the next guy, but isn't thylacoleo... uh... yeah, a marsupial? Not really a cat mutation? Such as the Primal mutation is a form of "atavism". 0 players like this post! Like? |

@Aleu (Ember) I have always loved Thylos since I first heard of them. Wild Card made me so happy when they announced it. I must admit it is the Ark Thylo I was thinking of when I decided to post this. 0 players like this post! Like? |

no-supporting only because they're marsupials, not in the least bit feline, they even have rodent-like teeth! I've noticed that while the game is pretty unrealistic in some areas, in others, realism really matters, like in mutations. 0 players like this post! Like? |

As much as I would adore this, I doubt it’ll happen, simply because it’s an entirely different species, not a feline hybrid or mutation. They’re amazing creatures in Ark, though! 0 players like this post! Like? |

The closest living relative to Thylacoleo are koalas (and some species of wombats) and are, unfortunately, completely unrelated to lions. Considering that our Primal mutations are based off of closely related extinct kitties, I don't think we'll ever see a mutation here on Lioden that turns a cat into a rat. Its a no support for me. 0 players like this post! Like? |
