No worries, and with your dog then yeah it could be because of the new food/drink she is having. For my dog I never give her milk I just give her water tbh and she's been fine with that, hopefully she too gets better soon.

Things are pretty good otherwise. My dog only every drinks water, and she pretty much needed the new food as she went on a hunger strike with her old food. She ate treats, her special meatballs, drank water, tried to eat sticks, and everything else just fine; just didn't like the old food anymore I guess. She has standards XD My mom is still at work, so she'll be getting holiday week pay, and on the 8th I finally get to go to an appointment I've been needing for a long time. I won't specify, but if everything goes right, I'll finally get a surgery I've been needing pretty badly. I'm not chronically ill or dying, but it will stop a lot of physical pain. I'm pretty excited :D

Mhm to me then she's definitely reached adolescence and now doesn't want puppy formula, sounds perfectly fine :)
My dog also has standards trust me xD she too loves her sticks and treats and omg it's so cute but everytime we go food shopping she expects a toy (to be fair we do always buy them lol) and yeah she adores her toys and is such a playful tease lol. Is yours very playful? :D

I'll search elsewhere nearby (I'm not crazy enough to go out of country and get some illegal back alley surgery, don't worry xD). And my doggo is pretty much too playful. I can't really run her at the time due to low energy and a past ankle sprain, but I hope to be able to run with her soon. I'm going to start taking her to the dog park in the early morning if I can. When I had a few training lessons, she got to experience a fenced yard, and boy was she in heaven then, lol.

My mom almost always gives her little bits of food while she's cooking (dog safe bits), and now she begs for fruits more than meat. It reminds me of my husky a few years ago (rehomed) who once trotted into the kitchen to watch my mom and I cooking. I was working on a raw rack of pork ribs, and she was working on salad. Like it was the most normal thing in the world, husky boi slowly and gently grabs a leaf of lettuce out of her hand to eat it while completely ignoring me and my pork xD

Absolutely, as I always say everything happens for a reason. If this doctor isn't the right one then keep trying and hopefully they can get back to you soon, over here in the UK certain people have to wait for procedures due to covid-19. My mum has a frozen shoulder and has had it for months but can't get it seen to fully, so hopefully you won't be put on a waiting list. <3

And honestly SAME with my dog no lie, I actually had to search on google if fruits and salads etc were fit for a dog, I have found out that grapes are very dangerous to dogs and honestly I feel like my dog has a death wish sometimes, when I eat grapes she wants them so bad, same with tomatoes, she's obsessed with them, I won't obviously let her have them. Any salad including lettuce she will eat. Fortunately, they are allowed to have a little bit of lettuce not too much from what I read anyway, always best to double check online. My dog would pick the salad over meat any day, I always call her a little vegetarian xD

Absolutely! and I hope your mom can get her treatment soon. Just think, it's better to wait a little longer than to catch the virus on top of recovering from surgery. If you haven't yet had an invasive surgery, let me tell you, getting sick during recovery is horrid, especially coughing hard. I feel like my area reopened far too soon considering the number of cases, but some places are doing non-essential procedures again (and even my local dentist is open for simple procedures such as cleaning). Cleaning staff are on the top of their game in hospitals/doctors offices apparently.

My dog loves pretty much anything sweet and juicy. Blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, cantaloupe, apple. Of course, even after she gets a couple pieces, she has to be practically on top of me giving me that longing gaze like she's on the brink of starvation. Oddest thing too, she loves the smell of mustard and tries to get some when I use it. I wouldn't think she'd like something like that, especially since I use a water/vinegar spray for discipline, but she's just weird like that.

Wow sorry ven, I have literally just seen this message, I missed it somehow but thank you, my mum is having treatment I guess over the phone now, they are only seeing face to face patients for extreme cases which makes sense. How are you btw, you feeling better?
My dog is same with all the fruits but I can't give her too much, I heard it's not good for them etc.

Also what do you guys think of the new base, stratosphere however you spell it lol.
Ngl, personally I am not a fan, I feel like last years new base (leonid) is much nicer but that's just my opinion, what do you all think? :D

No worries, Patch; and congrats on winning the Friday raffle! You're so lucky! :D Glad to hear that your mom is getting something done for her too. I've been doing much better, so I'm thinking that pain was either from my weighted blanket or just some small sickness. It feels so good to be able to lay down and move without pain all over my back and upper arm skin again.

I like Stratosphere, but I wish it was more blue, had darker areas, or had more pronounced stars. It's nice, but I just wish it was a little more space-ish for July.

And I do agree with that, with leonid you can see the spacey theme around it, this one looks like a dull version of Ice to me, I think if it had stars then I would like it so much more. As you can see I like my lions looking as non realistic as possible xD

Nothing much with me. I've been considering a new king/queen, but I'm not entirely sure what I want. I do like a lot of combo bases, but I don't want to have my main limited to only having a chance at throwing their base with certain females. I was really hoping that this July would yield a new beautiful space base like I've seen in suggestions that I may be able to use for my heir project, but I'm not too sure about using Stratosphere. I'd definitely want something a bit richer in color. Whatever I do end up getting, I'll probably want a few Rosettes thrown into the mix depending on how much the base adds to the design.

I'm currently trying to help one of my friends get her hands on the heir she really wants, whether she wants me to help or tries to say that I don't have to. Dammit, I wanna help her get her dream king xD

I understand, I know how you feel about the combos Ig if you don't want a permanent king then an applicable base would be best. Or how about trying for a leonid rosette king? Ngl that would be beautiful af, I would stud xD

Thank you Unless some new beautiful and rare applicator base comes out (rare being along the lines of Interstellar and Solaris), I'm definitely thinking of going for a raffle base, be it weekly lionesses or July Celestial raffles. Leonid would be gorgeous with the right markings, but I'm not too sure about the yellowish tones for a main. Of course, the right markings would hide most of it, but I'd want to save marking slots for what really brings the design together rather than cover-ups. Leonid still is a possibility though, along with Haze (not gonna lie, if Frostbitten was a bit rarer, I'd probably have my heart set on it). I definitely want to stay within the black group unless some new base blows me away, since I favor the black fails much higher than most of the other color groups (gotta love them Ebony, Noctis, and Korat fails). It'll probably be a while before I start heir planning, but I'm confident I'll have the funds to give it a good effort.

My friend is after a Frostbitten Ferus with one or two rosettes and several applicator marks. It's not too complicated a design all things considered. Definitely possible with the right breed-only marks lion, mutie replacer, and a couple of applicators. I forget exactly what she wanted markings-wise, but I'm definitely willing to throw some GB her way to help out. I think she's about halfway there in terms of required "makeover" items.
