I’ve been skittish when going outside in the morning to head to work after dad told me about the mountain Lion he heard on our roof. Been terrified that one morning I’ll be heading to my car and then suddenly have a mountain Lion on me :c even more so when my dog was acting like there was something under our trailer near the porch :/ 0 players like this post! They only come into a human resident like yard during the night mostly like when you are asleep, That is when they are trying to get like the chickens or other things they can get. They stay to themselves mostly unless they are rabid.. They wont be hiding if they are rabid. It may be because of the lack of food during the freeze.. They are mostly tucked away sleeping at that time. The only way they will go like after a human is if it is dark and hard for them to see. Make noise and it should run them off. Like I said unless they are rabid :) It may of been looking for a good way to get at your chickens. 0 players like this post! Like? |

No, just our dog that stays indoors when it’s dark out. Unless my neighbors decided to buy another pregnant cat and it gave birth under our trailer like the last one, but I’m not sure if they’d be that stupid, cruel yes, stupid... hope not 0 players like this post! Like? |

Yeah like forest said, I don't think you have much to fear, be careful yes but not afraid. You wont really be their target if they're looking for prey, if there was more than one at a time id worry more but thats not likely cause they dont live in groups. And if it didnt seem to be going after anything it might have just been wondering around, we as humans have taken pretty much all animals like thats habitat 0 players like this post! Yeah, hopefully everything will be fine when it comes to your dog and other animals. I feel bad when like coyotes get pushed into towns and end up going after peoples pets and they get so angry, I get it but it’s like kind of sad on both dies ah, the mountain Lion is probably better off where you’re at but it made me think of the coyotes 0 players like this post!
