Simply put: Make it so you can't put a secure lion up for trade. I just heard a horror story about someone who lost a gon because they put it up for trade accidentally. I don't know if they had secured their gon, but it's concerning that a mistake like this could happen to anyone. |

Just heard about the same story. :( Secured lions shouldn't be able to be listed for trade, and I'm hopeful that mods will step in in the 'gon case. Support! ![]() |

No support. I like to secure some of my more expensive lions I'm planning on selling to make sure I don't accidentally chase them right up to the moment they are up for trade and also to give the buyer that extra bit of protection once the lions enters tehir pride. I like the fact that you can sell and transfer secured lions. How about this instead: Have another option in the lions details, where you select "can't be traded/transferres" or "extra secure" or whatever else you want to name it. ![]() Edited on 02/03/19 @ 05:35:35 by Valana {HM} (#44115) |

Ehhh i'm on the fence Like Valana said, an extra option would be nice, since i also secure lions i plan on trading later; but Why not just make those special lions broodmothers or put them in a hunting party? All of my leopons and tigons are/were broodmothers, since you can't trade those and you need broodmothers anyway. I'm not gonna support just because, again, i trade my secured lions, but an "extra secure" option i'd support ![]() |

Also same as above. I secure all my trade lions so I can't accidentally chase or gorilla them. Having to deal with that would be far more detrimental to me, personally. A different, no-trade option, okay. Secure meaning no trade? Eeehhh... You can't trade hunters, so right now that's a good option for lions you don't want to accidentally lose. ![]() |

Just making special lions broodmothers or hunters doesn't work for lethals / immortal / young lions. I'm terrified I'm going to accidentally put my Lethal up for trade and there is literally nothing I can do to completely prevent it. And no matter how careful I am, accidents happen. While I understand that a lot of people want to secure lions they are going to trade, there does need to be another option to prevent users from accidentally trading lions. ![]() |

Support. There's a pop up to ask if you're sure you want to chase a lion, and you have to navigate to the option in the first place to even come close to making that mistake, whereas with the trade center there's no preventative measures other than if the lion is a hunter or broodmother. If you're planning on getting rid of a lion, I don't see any reason to secure it. ![]() |

No support - personal experience it being that way on Wolvden, and its really annoying having to un-secure each wolf you want to try selling! And what if it doesnt sell? You have to go back and secure them AGAIN, so you dont accidentally give them to the bear and etc. ![]() |

Personally, I donβt mind securing and I un-securing lions, Iβd rather do that than lose them by accident. Of course, for both sides to be happy, Iβd just like there to be a checkbox that enables trading for it. Simple, but would probably be most effective and accepted. ![]() |

support on the other end, im really tired of mass buying ncl breeders and having to unsecure each lion so i can chase them off afterwards. i dont think lions should be able to be sold when secured ![]() |

I've seen this before and commented on another similar suggestion somewhere in more detail. But the general gist is that although I'd theoretically support some sort of function to exclude certain lions from appearing on the list in TC, I don't support this way of doing it. I really really would not want to have to un-secure lions before selling them, especially valuable ones. When I'm trying to sell a leopon cub or something, I very much don't want to be worrying that it's unsecured and constantly at risk of being accidentally killed/chased/donated to enclave anytime if I click the wrong things. That only solves the current problem/risk by making a new one :( If a way of excluding from trades is added it needs to be separate from the current securing function imo. ![]() Edited on 14/08/22 @ 14:47:34 by Myriad (#76) |

Agreed with the other no supports for the same reasons. Though I agree that this is a problem and could be solved, I don't think this is the way to go about it. A separate function would be great, but not making it so secure lions can't be traded. ![]() |
