The 23-year old male sat back against the field just south of their main home, limbs aching and earbuds shoved rather violently into his ears. With a grumpy sigh, the beta male tried to enjoy the cool breeze gently tossing his messy hair, but the soreness of his legs bugged him deeply.
"I will never try running again, screw it. My muscles hurt, I dont get why my mother brought me into this world with crappy stamina and..." He ranted to no one in particular, fingers swiping at his old phone's screen with the intention of shutting it off. He sighed once more, brushing back a few stray strands of his golden/chestnut locks. "Who am I talking to? I dont even think most know about my existence..." He closed his eyes briefly and staggered up so he was standing. He nimbly flicked off the grass that clung to his pants, and with another exhausted mutter, began to head towards home. Or, at least, his second home.

Baekhyun stalked through the greenery, uncaringly ruining a few wildflowers that managed to survive the recent rain. He halted to make sure that his phone was still intact and wouldn't fall, then proceeded his brisk pace. He was about to near the main camp when his steps trailed off, and he was looking around in alarm and curiosity. He scented a rogue not so far from where he was positioned at, he recognized instantly that he might be a threat. Tensing, he decided to walk even faster to tell Luna about his discovery.

Baekhyun felt like bolting inside. The impulse that throbbed in his blood threatened to take control and force him to run, but he stayed as still as an undisturbed stone next to a tall mahogany tree. He had heard a noise.
A noise in a cave. Everyone knew that was a bad combo. Noises in caves weren't good signs. Deciding it was better to shift into his wolf, the beta slowly crept towards the dark, rocky thing, his body angled so that he was upwind and could not be scented.
Let's hope this guy wont try to murder me, most likely yes but then again, there's still a chance he or she has common sense... He thought grimly, nose twitching as more of the rogue's fragrance flooded his sense of smell.
As unthreateningly as possible, the creamy white wolf approached the entrance, rising to his not-so-intimidating full height.
Suddenly, his head snaps to the sound of footsteps to his right, and was greeted by the sight of a packmember running straight at him.
A-Akemi? This idiot, we're going to die.

What the hell? She knows this son of a-
The beta stopped, cocking his fluffy cream head to the side. His wolf's eyes glazed over in confusion, glancing from the man in the cave then to the packmember he never ever conversed with. He gave a low whine to the other two, demanding answers. If he were a human, he'd be cursing and threatening for answers, but as a wolf... He was as helpful as a puppy. He grunted, padding closer, paw scratching at the dusty ground while his ears slowly flattened in both confusion and a dim feeling of betrayal.
