I don't support this exact idea since you're asking for mood boosts to be disabled completely. I really don't want to have mood boost taken away from people because a few want to use items on their lions.

I would support an option to disable mood boosts on certain lions, kinda like how you can "lock" a lion so you can't accidentally get rid of it. That way you can prevent the lions you want to use mood items on from getting boosted, but other people can still have their clan perk.

Edit: Did you change your OP? I could have sworn I originally read it as disabling mood boost on the site.

No, Im not asking for it to be taken away for everyone, I think people who want their lions boosted can have it turned on and if you dont you have it turned off, not getting rid of the whole thing lol

@Mad Hyena I did read the whole thing, but that last half a sentence is easy to miss when the rest is of the paragraph is "i hate this" and the entire thread has been arguing why it needs to be gotten rid of.

@Dog I didnt say I hated it anywhere in my post I dont think? Simpy said it was a bit annoying to not be able to stat up your lions unless im wrong lol

Sadly, no support from me.

Not for any of the previous reasons, but because Lioden is a SIM. As a simulator for the life of lions, I don't think we should have control over things like mood boosts and whatever takes away moods. As players I'm not sure how I feel about being able to take away that mystery factor about what's happening with out lions. (Aka: anything we can't control.) But, that's just my opinion.

Maybe there could be more items that lower mood? Perhaps we could have specific pride members eat things like spiders? Or even add an interaction option to the existing Play/ Tussle/ Groom options that's something like Tease or Annoy? (Which would purposefully lower a pridemember's mood.)

I do feel it's hard to base arguments purely on the fact that this is a Simulator, just because it's hardly a realistic simulator. There are a lot of extraneous things that we, as players, influence. I think that's kind of the point of the game! Not just for it to be a realistic simulator, but for it to be a sim where we can build the kind of pride that we want. Of course, that mentality is probably different across players - like how we have some players who prefer Hard Mode and others who want to just breed for the pretty bases.

I'll never be against anything that gives people more options to play how they want!

Dang, that's actually a really good point! I hadn't thought about it in that kind of way, as a lion controlling the other lions. (HEck, that's great for pride lore too, lol) Alright, I'm gonna switch my vote to Support. Ya changed my mind with the 'control' analogy. Though, I still think it would be cool to have an Annoy or Tease option with the existing Play, Tussle, Groom!
